| This master’s thesis is a study on the impact of narrative therapy on the mental and emotional health of stroke patients.As my country has the highest lifetime risk of stroke in the world,it is inevitable to think about how to deal with the psychological and emotional health problems of stroke patients and how to help stroke patients recover effectively with the gradual improvement of medical conditions.Based on the analysis of narrative treatment related research,stroke patient related research and related research on narrative treatment in the field of social work,the author analyzes the existing research deficiencies,and launches this research.This research adopts the research orientation of case study,using the research methods of participatory observation and semi-structured interviews,with stroke patients as the main research objects,focusing on their mental and emotional health problems.The study found that stroke patients have the following four types of psychological and emotional problems during the inpatient rehabilitation process: strong stigma—physical and mental self-closing,pessimistic disappointment—low self-efficacy,irritability—tensed family relationship,mental anxiety—anxious,insomnia,and dreaminess.Analyze the causes of problems from four aspects: pathology,family,peers and society,including physical dysfunction,lack of mental care,decreased interpersonal communication,stigma and inconvenience.The author analyzes the psychological and emotional health needs of stroke patients from three levels: family,community,country and society.Samples with typical significance were selected from the research subjects.Under the guidance of narrative therapy,follow the treatment process of story narration-problem externalization-reshaping the story,assist the client to get rid of the influence of the problem story through his own strength,and help the case Mainly face psychological and emotional problems,and explore the practical path of narrative therapy in social workers’ intervention in the psychological and emotional problems of stroke patients.Studies have found that narrative therapy has a positive effect on the psychological and emotional problems of patients with interventional stroke.It can effectively help stroke patients to complete the integration of their life courses and improve the psychological and emotional health of stroke patients.The psychological and emotional state of patients is significantly positive after intervention.change.At the same time,the author reflects on the use of narrative therapy,and believes that the current narrative therapy has the advantages of facilitating the establishment of professional relationships,avoiding the appearance of expert images,and helping social workers to reflect on their own life course.However,there are also the phenomenon of emotional overdraft and service effects of social workers.The lack of ambiguity,the need to integrate with other work methods,and the higher requirements for the interviewing ability of social workers.Finally,the author puts forward three perspectives on the application of narrative therapy: enriching the applied research and practical application of narrative therapy,accelerating the localization process of narrative therapy,and exploring the combination of narrative therapy and multiple working methods.Hope to provide some reference for future researchers. |
