Application Of Narrative Therapy Model To Mental Illness Patients In Rehabilitation

At this stage,the treatment of patients with mental illness began to change from the early closed psychiatric hospital medical treatment mode to the patient-centered,patient-based rehabilitation-based medical medicine-psycho-social comprehensive model.In the treatment of patients with mental illness in convalescent period,the effect of drug therapy alone on the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients is limited.Patients not only need to achieve medical rehabilitation,but also need to return to society.In this context,it is particularly necessary and urgent to study social work intervention in rehabilitation services for patients with mental disorders.In this study,narrative therapy model was applied to the rehabilitation treatment of patients with mental illness in convalescent period.Through the analysis of the life story,emotional connection,psychological mechanism and family environment of the patient,the psychological activities,emotional relationships and life stories of patients with mental illness in convalescent period were focused on.Through communication with patients with mental illness in convalescent period,unreasonable psychological activities of patients were found.It can help patients to perceive and reflect,and then change their psychological activities and cognitive development of things.On the one hand,through in-depth interviews with family members to explore the problems of the case owners;on the other hand,the use of narrative therapy model to deconstruct the patient’s life story,externalize the problem and help patients reconstruct the life story to help them find the meaning of life.Through the research,it is found that narrative therapy mode is helpful for patients and their families to reconstruct the authenticity of life and real life,make up for the cognitive deficiencies of the case owners.The application of narrative therapy mode has a better effect on alleviating the psychological pressure of the case owners and their family members and reducing the ideological burden caused by incomplete understanding of things.Finally,this study analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the narrative therapy model in the service of patients with mental illness in rehabilitation period,and carried out reflection and discussion.
