| Research Purpose:(1)To construct and explore the reasonable adaptation of PEERS training;(2)To explore the effect of PEERS training on social ability and mood of young patients.Research Methods:By consulting a large number of literature and continuing the overall framework of PEERS program,we initially constructed 10 topics of social skills training program.Psychiatrists and psychotherapists were invited to conduct a forum to study the overall procedure, content of each course, intervention time and frequency of PEERS training. After a full and comprehensive discussion, the PEERS training program for local patients with depression was finally constructed. We selected young depression patients from the psychosomatic disorders Department of a tertiary A Hospital in Huzhou from June 2020 to December 2020.The patients were divided into experimental group and control group by ward. Both groups were given SSRI drugs and antidepressants physiotherapy. The control group was given common nursing care, and the experimental group was given 6 weeks of PEERS training on the basis of routine care. The PEERS training program was constructed and optimized based on literature research and expert discussions.LSAS,SAD,PSSE and HAMD-17 scales were used to evaluate the intervention effects of the two groups.Research Results:(1)The study began by enrolling 74 young patients with depression, and finally enrolled 35 cases in the experimental group and 34 in the control group. Before the test, there was no statistical difference general condition and psychological scale scores of the two groups(P>0.05).The baseline levels of the two groups were balanced.(2)Comparison of the social function of the two groups of patients:(1)The differences in LSAS scores between and within the two groups were statistically significant(F=4.729,P=0.042;F=45.400,P<0.001),and there was an interaction effect(F= 12.386,P<0.001).The LSAS scores of two groups showed a downward trend with the time dimension. After 6 weeks, the decrease rate of severe social anxiety was 35.71% in the experimental group and 25.00% in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(2)The differences in SAD scores between and within two groups were statistically significant(F=5.931,P<0.05;F=129.799,P<0.001),and there was an interaction effect(F=21.210,P<0.001);The SAD scores of two groups showed a downward trend over time.(3)The differences in PSSE scores between and within the two groups were statistically significant(F=4.040,P<0.05;F=161.61,P<0.001),and there was an interaction effect(F=4.084,P<0.05);The PSSE scores of the group and the control group showed an upward trend over time(3)Comparison of depression in the two groups: the effect of HAMD-17 score between the two groups was not statistically significant(F=3.150,P>0.05).The HAMD-17 scores of patients in thetwo groups decreased before the test,at the end of 3 weeks and 6 weeks.Research Conclusion:(1)In this study,PEERS training programme can effectively improve patients’ social skills, but has no significant effect on patients’ depression.(2)PEERS training programme can teach social skills to young depression patients effectively, thereby reducing social anxiety and social fear, improving social self-efficacy,and promoting the recovery of social function.(3)As a non-drug intervention method to improve social function of patients with depression,PEERS training programme is convenient, feasible and practical, and worth further research and promotion. |
