Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Tinnitus(stagnation Of Phlegm-fire Type )by Acupuncture Combined With Pricking Blood

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with pricking blood on tinnitus of stagnation of phlegm-fire type,and to provide clinical basis for the clinical treatment of tinnitus of this type.Methods:In this study,66 patients of tinnitus who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the random number table method,and 33 cases in each group.The control group was treated with simple acupuncture,which was given once a day,five times a week,two days off on Saturday and Sunday;The treatment group combined with blood pricking at Zhongchong point therapy on the basis of acupuncture in the control group,and the Zhongchong point bled about 1～ 2ml on one side.In case of unilateral tinnitus,the healthy zhongchong point would be used for bleeding,while in case of bilateral tinnitus,the bilateral zhongchong point would be used.Zhongchong point was treated once every other day,and two days off on Saturday and Sunday.Both groups were treated for four weeks.After four weeks of treatment,the scores of tinnitus severity classification,THI(tinnitus handicape inventory)and TCM Syndromes of scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and the data were statistically analyzed to observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with pricking blood on tinnitus of stagnation of phlegm-fire type.Results:1 Analysis of curative effect indexes after treatment:(1)Analysis of the results of tinnitus severity classification scores:The comparison within the group showed a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),and the data of the scores both reduced after treatment,indicating that the two groups both had certain efficacy;There was no significant difference in the improvement of the environment of tinnitus,the duration of tinnitus,the impact of tinnitus on life and work,and the influence of tinnitus on emotion between the two groups(P>0.05).However,there were statistically significant differences in terms of the effect of tinnitus on sleep,the overall feeling of patients to tinnitus and total scores between the two groups(P<0.05),and the score of the treatment group decreased more than that of the control group,indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better.(2)Analysis of the results of THI scores:the differences within the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the data of the scores both reduced after the treatment,indicating that the two groups both had an improvement;The difference was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05),and the score of the treatment group had a greater decline than that of the control group.(3)Analysis of the results of TCM Syndromes of scores:the data of the scores of the two groups were compared within the group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the data of the scores both reduced after treatment,indicating that the two groups both had a certain effect;The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),In addition,the downward trend of the treatment group was more obvious.2 Overall efficiency analysis:The total effective rate was 90.91% in the treatment group and 72.70% in the control group.There were statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in the treatment of tinnitus of stagnation of phlegm-fire type.Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with pricking blood on tinnitus of stagnation of phlegm-fire type was better than that of simple acupuncture group and it is safe and easy to operate,so it will have a wide range of clinical application value.
