| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Bushen Shugan Decoction combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease with depression of kidney deficiency and liver depression, and to explore new ideas and methods of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of this disease. Methods: Sixty patients with PDD(kidney deficiency and liver depression type)who visited the Department of Encephalopathy,Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2018 to October 2019 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. On the basis of conventional anti-Parkinson’s disease drug treatment, the control group was given repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy, once a day;the treatment control group was treated with Yanshen Shugan Decoction(which can be appropriately added or subtracted according to the clinical symptoms of patients),daily dose of traditional Chinese medicine, divided into two warm doses in the morning and evening,4weeks for each group. The changes of HAMDscore,TCM symptoms scale score,UPDRS-I,UPDRS-II,UPDRS-III,PDQ-39 score, and the effective rate of treatment in each group were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.Vital signs(respiration, pulse, blood pressure, heart rate)and safety indicators(liver function, renal function, blood routine, urine routine, stool routine,ECG,etc.)were measured before and after treatment to evaluate the safety of the two groups.Results:(1)After 4 weeks of treatment, the HAMD scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),the difference between the treatment group and the control group was significant(P<0.05),and the effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);(2)After 4 weeks of treatment, the UPDRS-I(mental,behavioral and emotional items),UPDRS-II(activities of daily living items)and UPDRS-III(motor function items)scores of the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05);there was significant difference in the UPDRS-I and UPDRS-II scores between the two groups(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the UPDRS-III scores between the two groups(P>0.05);(3)After 4 weeks of treatment, the PDQ-39 scores of both groups decreased than before(P<0.05),and the scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);(4)After 4 weeks of treatment, the scores of TCM in the treatment control group were significantly different(P<0.05),and the effective rate of treatment was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);(5)Vital signs and laboratory tests were not significantly abnormal before and after treatment in both groups. Conclusions: By observing the clinical efficacy of Bushen Shugan Decoction combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease depression of kidney deficiency and liver depression type,it showed that the combined group was safe and effective in the treatment of depressive symptoms in patients with PDD;it was superior to the repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation group alone in improving depressive symptoms, quality of life and TCM group;both groups could improve the motor symptoms of patients, but the difference was not significant. |
