Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Acute Herpes Zoster With Double Surrounded Needling Method Cooperate With Blood-letting Puncture And Cupping

Objective: This study evaluated the clinical effects of double surrounded needling method cooperate with blood-letting puncture and cupping in the treatment of acute herpes zoster,and summarized the treatment law.So as to find a new method for clinical treatment of acute herpes zoster,which is curative,safe and non-toxic,simple operation and easy to generalize clinically.Methods: This study was based on 72 patients with acute herpes zoster who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department of Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2018 to July 2019.The patients were divided into two groups according to the "random number table method".There were 36 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Valacyclovir hydrochloride tablets and Mecobalamin tablets.The treatment group was given double surrounded needling method cooperate with blood-letting puncture and cupping based on the treatment of the control group.Both groups took 5 days as a course of treatment,rested for 2 days during the course of treatment,and counted the curative effect after 3 courses of treatment.The VAS pain scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups of patients.And the time to stop blister,scab and remove scab also were compared.Two months after the end of the treatment,the follow-up statistics on the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN)were counted.Results:1.After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group and control group were 97.2% and 75.0%,respectively.And the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.After treatment,the VAS pain scores of both groups were lower than that of this group before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,compared with the control group,the VAS pain scores of the treatment group were more significantly reduced(P<0.05).3.The treatment group had shorter time for stopping blisters,scabing and removing scabs than the control group(P<0.05).4.Two months after the end of the treatment,the incidence of PHN of the treatment group was 13.8%,while the incidence of PHN of the control group was 38.9%.The incidence of PHN in the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.On the basis of oral administration of valaciclovir hydrochloride tablets and mecobalamin tablets,the method of double surrounded needling method cooperate with blood-letting puncture and cupping for the treatment of acute herpes zoster is effective.2.On the basis of oral administration of valaciclovir hydrochloride tablets and mecobalamin tablets,the method of double surrounded needling method cooperate with blood-letting puncture and cupping for the treatment of acute herpes zoster can shorten the course of the disease,effectively reduce the patients’ VAS pain score,and reduce the incidence rate of PHN.3.For patients of acute herpes zoster,double surrounded needling method cooperate with blood-letting puncture and cupping is curative,and it is simple to operate,convenient for clinical promotion and application,so it has the value of further study.
