Summarizing Professor Dong Yanping’s Experience In The Treatment Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Based On Data Mining

Objective: This paper summarizes Professor Dong Yanping’s experience in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis based on data mining,which is conducive to the inheritance and promotion of famous and old TCM doctors’ treatment experience,in order to provide a reference for the better treatment of this disease.Methods: From May 2016 to January 2020,a total of 203 effective cases of RA diagnosed and treated by Professor Dong Yanping in Hebei Traditional Chinese medicine hospital were collected.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,193 cases were included in this study.The basic information and prescriptions of patients’ first visit were recorded into the system of "traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistance Platform(V2.5)".Summarizing his experience in treating RA,through the use of frequency statistical analysis,association rules,clustering analysis and other data mining methods.Results:1.Basic information: among 193 RA patients,27 were males and 166 were females;the age of the disease was mainly 40-69 years old,accounting for 71.50% of the total population;the clinical symptoms were mainly joint pain,morning stiffness,joint swelling and adverse events;the frequency of wind cold dampness syndrome was the highest in TCM syndrome type.2.Analysis of prescriptions: A total of 155 herbs were involved.In "four Qi statistics",most of them were warm drugs,while in "five flavors statistics",the proportion of bitter drugs and sweet drugs was relatively large;liver,spleen and kidney were the main drugs for meridian tropism.36 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines were used more than 20 times.According to the statistics of the dosage points of the top 4 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines,the common dosage of Caulis sinomenii was 15 g,Angelica sinensis was 10 g,Large leaf gentian was 10 g and Bighead atractylodes rhizome was 15 g.According to their efficacy,36 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine were classified into 9 categories,among which tonic drugs,dispelling wind and dampness drugs,activating blood and removing blood stasis drugs appeared more frequently.Based on the association rule method,all the prescriptions of RA patients were extracted,the number of supporting degree was set to 45,the confidence degree was set to 0.95,and 16 core Chinese medicines were obtained;the prescriptions of RA patients with four syndrome types were extracted,and the appropriate number of supporting degree was set,then 7,8,8 and 7 core Chinese medicines were obtained respectively.3.Analysis of new prescriptions: The correlation degree was set to 8,the penalty degree was 2,cluster analysis was carried out,15 core combinations were extracted,on this basis,the unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering algorithm was used,and 15 new prescriptions were finally obtained.Conclusion:Through the analysis of "traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistance Platform(V2.5)" system,we can see that:1.Professor Dong Yanping thinks that the core etiology and pathogenesis of the disease are the deficiency of vital energy,invasion of wind,cold and dampness,phlegm stasis obstructing collaterals.He pays attention to the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation in the treatment of RA.His characteristics of prescriptions in the treatment of RA:warm medicine accounts for a higher proportion,bitter medicine and sweet medicine account for a higher proportion.And he is good at combining traditional Chinese medicine pharmacology with modern pharmacology,and when prescribing the medicine to the patient,he thinks that the medicine should be refined and fully combined with the patient’s condition.2.Some new prescriptions obtained provide new references and ideas for the treatment of RA in the future.
