| ObjectiveThis study was aimed to investigate the incidence of anxiety / depression in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)in Western Hunan and its related influencing factors.MethodsA total of 108 consecutive hospitalized patients with CHF from December 2019 to December 2020 were studied.Generalized anxiety disorder scale(GAD-7),nine patient health questionnaire(PHQ-9)and self-made general demographic and clinical data questionnaire(including age, gender, hospitalization times, occupation, education level, marriage, residence, body mass index(BMI),NYHA cardiac function classification, the number of brothers and sisters, the number of children born, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT pro BNP))were used to investigate the incidence of anxiety and depression and its related factors in hospitalized patients with CHF,and to analyze the related factors of anxiety and depression in hospitalized patients with CHF by univariate correlation analysis and multivariate logistic regression.Results1.The detection rate of anxiety and / or depression symptoms in hospitalized patients with CHF was 75.9%;2.65 cases(60.18%)of anxiety symptoms were detected in CHF hospitalized patients, and there were significant differences in female constituent ratio, hypertension rate and BMI value between CHF patients with anxiety symptoms and no anxiety(P < 0.05);3.23 cases(21.30%)of depression symptoms were detected in CHF hospitalized patients, and there were significant differences in living conditions and cultural level between CHF patients with depression and no depression(P < 0.05);4.among 108 patients with chronic heart failure,13 patients(12.03%)had anxiety and depression symptoms.Compared with other patients,CHF patients with anxiety and depression symptoms had significant differences in different gender, hypertension history and occupation type, with statistical significance(P <0.05);5 Multiple logistic regression analysis confirmed that the history of hypertension was an independent influencing factor of anxiety symptoms in patients with CHF,living conditions was an independent influencing factor of depression symptoms in patients with CHF,and the history of hypertension was an independent influencing factor of coexistence of anxiety and depression symptoms in patients with CHF.ConclusionThe incidence of anxiety and/or depression in patients with chronic heart failure in Western Hunan is high.Educational level, history of hypertension,BMI,residence, gender and occupation are related factors of anxiety and depression in patients with chronic heart failure.Female, combined with history of hypertension were the high risk factors for anxiety and depression. |
