| ObjectiveTo analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of moxibustion in promoting wound healing after "external stripping and internal ligation" of mixed hemorrhoids,and to provide a new idea for the treatment of wound recovery after mixed hemorrhoids operation.MethodsThe eligible subjects who were hospitalized in the anorectal department of Baoan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to October 2020 were randomly divided into treatment group(moxibustion+hemorrhoid suppositories group)and control group(hemorrhoid suppositories group),with 35 cases in each group.On the basis of basic treatment,the control group was treated with hemorrhoid embolization in the anus,1 tablet a day,continuous treatment for 7 days.In the treatment group,after basic treatment and hemorrhoid embolization of anus,the patients’ bilateral Chengshan,bilateral Dachangshu and bilateral Erbai acupoint were treated with moxibustion of Ai pillar,once a day,for consecutive 7 days.The visual analogue scale(VAS)score was used as the primary outcome,and the edema scale score and healing period as secondary outcome.Pain and edema scores were evaluated before and on days 3,5,7,and 10 after treatment,and wound healing time was recorded at follow-up for both groups.The incidence of adverse events was recorded throughout the study period.Results1.A total of 70 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who met the inclusion criteria were included in this study,and were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group in a ratio of 1:1.A total of 68 subjects completed the experiment,including 33 in the treatment group,35 in the control group,and 2 in the treatment group.2.Baseline data:The relative comparison of baseline data(age,gender,course of disease,number of internal hemorrhoids,number of surgical wounds,initial VAS score before treatment and edema score before treatment)between the two groups showed P>0.05,with no statistical significance.3.VAS scale:the scores of 2 groups before treatment and at day 3,5,7 and 10 after treatment gradually decreased,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparison was made between the two groups.From the 7th day after treatment,the score difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.4.Edema scoring scale:From the 7th day after treatment,there was a statistically significant difference in scores between the two groups(P<0.05),and scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group.Compared with the initial scores before treatment,the difference was statistically significant in the treatment group from the 5th day after treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant in the control group from the 7th day after treatment(P<0.05).5.In terms of promoting the healing of the operative mouth,the time of the treatment group was shorter than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.There were no adverse reactions in the two groups during the treatment and follow-up.Conclusion1.Moxibustion and hemorrhoid embolization combined with anal comparison of hemorrhoid embolization,the two treatment methods for relieving mixed hemorrhoids"external stripping and internal ligation operation" postoperative pain have obvious effect,and from the 7th day after treatment,combined therapy pain relief effect is more obvious.2.Moxibustion and hemorrhoid embolization of the anus combined with comparison of hemorrhoid embolization of the anus,in terms of eliminating edema,the former effect is earlier than the latter,and from the 7th day after treatment,the former effect is more obvious than the latter.3.Moxibustion and hemorrhoid embolization of anus combined with comparison of hemorrhoid embolization of anus has more advantages in promoting postoperative wound healing.4.Moxibustion and hemorrhoid embolization of the anus combined with comparative hemorrhoid embolization of the anus,both therapies have good safety. |
