ObjectiveThis research adopts the pharyngeal muscle training combined traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)polyester phlegm tonga subtraction treatment of adult phlegm and blood stasis mutual junction obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome,compared with the pure oral Chinese medicine,on the one hand,to observe pharyngeal muscles and oral polyester phlegm tonga subtraction of adult patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome polysomnography,sleepiness scale score,relevant results snoring rating scale and the improvement of the Pittsburgh sleep quality index,on the other hand evaluation pharyngeal muscles joint polyester phlegm tonga subtraction clinical curative effect of training for the pharyngeal muscle treat sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome clinical trial basis was provided for further research.MethodsA total of 60 adult patients who met the diagnostic criteria of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)and the TCM syndrome differentiation criteria of phutumstasis type snoring syndrome were collected from the outpatient department of Otolaryngology Department of Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2020 to December 2020,and were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with pharyngeal muscle training combined with oral Chinese medicine diphlegm decoction for 12 weeks,while the control group was treated with oral Chinese medicine alone,one dose per day,divided into two doses in the morning and evening,for 12 weeks.The changes of polysomnograms,narcolepsy scale,snore scale and Pittsburgh sleep quality index were compared before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 12 weeks after treatment,and statistical software was used to analyze the difference of efficacy of related indexes.Results1.General Data:There were no significant differences in age,gender,disease course and body mass index(BMI)between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Before treatment,there were significant differences in apnea hypopnea index(AHI),minimum oxygen saturation(LSaO2),longest duration of apnea hypopnea,ESS score,SS score and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)between 2 groups(P>0.05).3.After 4 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment,AHI,LSAO2,ESS scores,SS scores and PSQI in observation group were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05);After 4 weeks of treatment,the longest duration of apnea and hypopnea in the observation group was not significantly improved(P>0.05).AHI,LSAO2,maximum duration of apnea and hyper ventilation,ESS score,SS score and PSQI in observation group were significantly improved after 12 weeks of treatment compared with 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).4.AHI,ESS score,SS score and PSQI of the control group were significantly improved after 4 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.05);AHI,ESS score,SS score and PSQI of control group were significantly improved after 12 weeks of treatment compared with 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).In the control group,LSaO2 after 12 weeks of treatment was significantly higher than that before and after 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).The maximum duration of apnea and hypopnea in the control group was not significantly decreased before treatment,4 weeks after treatment,and 12 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).5.AHI in the observation group was significantly improved compared with the control group after 4 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,there were no significant differences in LSA02,maximum duration of apnea and hypo ventilation,ESS score,SS score and PSQI between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,LSA02,the longest duration of apnea and hypoventilation,ESS score,SS score and PSQI in the observation group were significantly improved compared with the control group(P>0.05).6.In terms of clinical efficacy,in the observation group,4 cases were cured,19 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective;in the control group,2 cases were cured,15 cases were effective,and 12 cases were ineffective.The efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 85.2%,the total effective rate of the control group was 58.6%,the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Both pharyngeal muscle training combined with the addition or reduction of Dietantan Decoction and oral administration of Dietantan Decoction alone can improve AHA,nocturnal minimum blood oxygen saturation,ESS score,SS score and PSDI in adults with phlegmstasis interaction.However,the long-term clinical efficacy of pharyngeal muscle training combined with oral Chinese medicine(Dietantan Decoction plus or minus)is significantly better than that of oral Chinese medicine alone.2.Pharyngeal muscle training not only provides a new treatment method for OSAHS,but also is simple to learn,safe and free of economic burden,which is worthy of promotion.
