| Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of The Five White Powder cataplasm application in treating chloasma and to provide a new idea for the treatment of melasma and better clinical application and promotion.Methods: Sixty female patients with chloasma who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.30 cases of patients in the treatment group were given The Five White Powder cataplasm application,while the others in the control group were treated with acupuncture.The treatment is carried out three times a week,four weeks is a course of treatment,three courses in total.The curative effect was evaluated by observing the changes of the skin lesion score and chloasma quality of life score before and after treatment.Result: After three months of treatment,in terms of skin lesion score,both groups have improved,and the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05),in terms of improving the quality of life,the treatment group is better than the control group(P < 0.05).In the treatment group,5 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly effective,9 cases improved,2 cases ineffective,the total effective rate was93.33%;In the control group,1 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,12 cases improved,10 cases ineffective,the total efficiency is 66.67%,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).It shows that the curative effect of The Five White Powder cataplasm application was more significant.Conclusions:The Five White Powder cataplasm application can significantly improve the area,color and quality of life of patients with chloasma,it has remarkable clinical effect,easy operation,high comfort and no side effects,and it is worthy of clinical application. |
