Objective: To detect particle size and the contents of copper(Cu), plumbum(Pb) and magnesium(Mg) in super-fine powder of Qi Bai San , and observe its morphologic characteristics . To research its influence on antioxidation and tyrosine of correlated animal model of chloasma, compared with its fine powder.Methods: 1. To measure particle size and observe morphologic characteristics of powder by microscopic method ; 2.Detect the contents of Cu , Pb and Mg in super-fine powder and fine powder of Qi Bai San by absorption spectrographic method ; 3. Determine the superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity , the quantity of Tyrosine (Tyr) and malonaldehyde(MDA) in small mice skin and liver, to contrast pharmacodynamics of super-fine powder and fine powder of Qi Bai San transdermal delivery.Results: 1. It was found that there is seldom completed cell exist, particle size is very micro , and distribution range is narrow after super-fine-pulverized under amicroscope . 2. The quantity of Pb increased and the quantity of Mg decreased in Super-fine powder of Qi Bai San . 3.The high-dose group of super-fine powder of Qi Bai San can notably oppose the quantity of Tyr,MDA increasing and the SOD activity descending in small mice' skin and liver caused by luteosterone (P<0.01) ; the middle-dose group of super-fine powder of Qi Bai San and the group fine powder of Qi Bai San can oppose the and the SOD activity descending in small mice' skin (P<0.05) , but they can't oppose the quantity of Tyr,MDA increasing and the SOD activity descending in small mice' skin and liver (P>0.05) . 4. Compared with its fine powder in the same dosage , super-fine powder of Qi Bai San can step down the quantity of Tyr,MDA in small mice' skin and liver (P<0.05) , but enhance its SOD activity (P<0.05) .Conclusion : It was found that there is seldom completed cell exist, particle size is more micro , and distribution range is more narrow under amicroscope ; but the quantity of Pb increased and the quantity of Mg decreased in Super-fine powder of Qi Bai San , compared with its fine powder. Super-fine powder and fine powder of Qi Bai San possess the role of antioxidation , and the fomer can decrease the quantity of Tyr . In the same dosage , super-fine powder of Qi Bai San was superior to fine powder of Qi Bai San in pharmacodynamics through transdermal delivery.
