Objective: In this study,by observing the effects of different needle retention time on cervical headache visual analog scale score, functional activity score, accompanying symptom score and total effective rate,to explore the best needle retention time for acupuncture treatment of cervical headache, with a view to it provides an objective basis for the reasonable selection of needle retention time to treat cervicogenic headache in clinical practice. Methods: A total of 90 patients with cervical headache were enrolled in this study, and they were randomly divided into a needle retention group of 5 minutes,a needle retention group of 15 minutes, and a needle retention group of 30 minutes at a ratio of 1:1:1,with 30 cases in each group.Three groups were selected Fengfu(GV 16),Fengchi(GB 20),Tianzhu(BL 10),Wangu(GB12),Ashi points, all acupoints were treated with flattening, replenishing and relieving techniques. The treatment was performed once a day for a total of 6 times. Before and after treatment, the patients’ visual analog scale score, functional activity score, and accompanying symptom score were evaluated respectively. After treatment, the total effective rate of the three groups of patients was evaluated according to the accompanying symptom score, and the data were compared and analyzed within and between groups.Results:1.Visual analog scale score: Compared before and after treatment, the visual analog scale scores of the three groups of patients all decreased, and the comparison within and between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);2.Functional activity score: The functional activity scores of the three groups of patients were significantly improved before and after treatment, and the comparisons within and between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);3.The total scores of accompanying symptoms: Comparing the total scores of accompanying symptoms of the three groups of patients, the total scores of accompanying symptoms of the three groups were reduced after treatment, and the differences between the three groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);4.Total effective rate: After treatment, the total effective rate of the30-minute needle retention group is 90.00%,the total effective rate of the15-minute needle retention group is 66.67%,and the total effective rate of the 5-minute needle retention group is 35.71%;comparison between the needle retention 5 minutes group and the 15-minute needle retention group, and the 5 minutes needle retention group It was statistically significant compared with the 30-minute needle retention group(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance between the 15-minute needle retention group and the 30-minute needle retention group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture "Nape Seven Needles " has a positive effect on cervical headache, which can effectively reduce the patient’s pain, improve cervical spine mobility, and relieve accompanying symptoms. The 30-minute needle retention group has the best effect, but in terms of total effective rate, the 30-minute needle retention group compares with the retention needle. The curative effect of the 15 minutes group was similar, but both were better than the 5 minutes group. |
