Study On The Correlation Between Polymorphisms Of IL-4 Gene(rs2243250,rs2243283) And The Atopic Traits Of The Print Of Thenar Eminence

Objective:The association between IL-4 gene polymorphism and thenar palmprint recruitment was studied from the perspective of asthma genetietiology,to reveal the internal genetic association between bronchial asthma and the pathogenesis of kidney deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),and to find new and effective diagnosis and treatment methods for bronchial asthma.Methods:A total of 400 case groups(asthmatic population)and 200 control groups(normal subjects)were screened.The computerized intelligent recognition system was used for objective quantification and grading of the atopic traits of the print of thenar eminence,and SNaPshot technology was used to detect the polymorphisms at the two loci of IL-4 gene rs2243250 and rs2243283.Results:1.The correlation between asthma history and the symptoms of thenar palmprint was tested by Chi-square test.P=1.99E-37,less than 0.05.2.After age and sex correcting,case-control studies were carried out according to asthma history and the symptoms of thenar palmprint.The P values were not less than 0.05.3.There was no significant difference in the frequency of IL-4 haplotype between the palmprint negative group and the palmprint positive group(P>0.05).Conclusion:There was no significant correlation between the symptoms of thenar palmprint and the polymorphisms of IL-4 gene rs2243250 and rs2243283.But there was a correlation between asthma history and symptoms of thenar palmprint.
