ObjectiveIn this study,Jiawei Bazhen Decoction was used to intervene in patients with fatigue syndrome after total hip arthroplasty,and to explore the improvement of postoperative fatigue and mood state.It is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment for elderly patients with fatigue after total hip arthroplasty.The treatment plan provides a reference and a theoretical basis for TCM intervention in fatigue syndrome after total hip arthroplasty.MethodsCollected from the Department of Knee Osteoarthritis,Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,hospitalized from July 2020 to January 2021,diagnosed as elderly patients with hip osteoarthritis.After the initial unilateral total hip replacement treatment,postoperative fatigue syndrome appeared 68 patients with qi and blood deficiency and blood stasis were divided into treatment group and control group by a simple random grouping method,with 34 patients in each group.Patients in the control group received only the conventional treatment plan after total hip replacement,and the patients in the test group were given Jiawei Bazhen Decoction on the basis of the conventional treatment plan after the operation.One dose of Jiawei Bazhen Decoction was taken orally in the morning and evening for 1 week.The visual analogue scoring method(VAS),the brief mood scale(POMS),and the perioperative fatigue assessment scale(ICFS)were used to evaluate huayou 1 day before surgery,1 day after surgery,3 days after surgery,and 7 days after surgery.The condition of the two groups of patients was detected 1 day before operation,1 day after operation,3 days after operation,and 7 days after operation,hemoglobin(Hb),C-reactive protein(CRP),immunoglobulin G(IgG),albumin(ALB),compare the indicators of the two groups of patients.Results1.Visual analogue scale(VAS),concise mood scale(POMS),perioperative fatigue rating scale(ICFS)scores:there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before and one day after surgery(P>0.05)The ICFS scores of the two groups of patients were higher than that of preoperative one day after operation,three days after operation were lower than one day after operation,and 7 days after operation were lower than 3 days after operation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group on the 3rd and 7th day after operation,(P<0.05),suggesting that the fatigue degree of the experimental group was significantly reduced on the 3rd and 7th day after operation.2.CRP:After non-parametric test,there was no significant difference between the two groups before CRP operation,1 day after operation,and 3 days after operation(P>0.05);CRP levels of the two groups were higher than those before operation at each time point after operation Increased,there was a significant difference(P>0.05);the test group was lower than the control group 7 days after surgery,which was statistically significant,P<0.001.3.ALB:After non-parametric test,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before and 1 day after ALB(P>0.05);the test group was higher than the control group on 3 days and 7 days after operation,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Hb:After non-parametric test,there was no significant difference in Hb between the two groups at each time point before and one day after surgery(P>0.05);the observation group was higher than the control at 3 and 7 days after surgery Group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.IgG:After non-parametric test,there was no significant difference in IgG between the two groups at each time point before and one day after surgery(P>0.05);the observation group was higher than the control at 3 and 7 days after surgery Group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThere will be different degrees of fatigue symptoms after total hip replacement,which is more obvious on the first day after surgery,and then gradually relieved.Jiawei Bazhen Decoction can improve the degree of postoperative fatigue syndrome by improving postoperative nutritional status,inhibiting inflammation,and improving immunity.
