Objective:observing the combination of acupoint application and sleep hygiene education to treat insomnia with deficiency of both heart and spleen. While verifying its clinical effectiveness, observe its safety and scope of application in the treatment of insomnia. Methods:In this experiment, patients with heart and spleen deficiency type insomnia will be included. It is estimated that 60 patients will be enrolled and randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Each group has 30 cases. The treatment group consisted of traditional Chinese medicine fructus evodiae, cinnamon, fennel, clove, and mugwort;the control group used wheat bran as the application material. The application medium is white vinegar,a disposable dressing is used, and the size is 7×7cm.A total of 5 acupoints,BL15,BL20,and CV8 were selected for both groups.Sleep hygiene education(see below for details). Each treatment is 4-6 hours,3 times a week,3 times as a course of treatment, two days rest between treatments,a total of 4 courses of treatment, and follow-up at the 8th week after treatment.Observe indicators:Pittsburgh sleep quality index(Pittsburgh sleep quality index,PSQI)as the main outcome indicator, insomnia severity index(Insomnia Severity Index,ISI),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton The Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),the distribution of TCM syndromes, and clinical efficacy were judged as secondary observation indicators.Observe the changes before and after treatment and during the follow-up period, and record the adverse reactions and events in detail. Results:Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores, comparison of data at 0,2,4 and 8 weeks of treatment, showed that there was a statistically significant difference within the treatment group(P<0.05),the comparison between the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of data before treatment and after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant after 4 weeks of treatment and during follow-up(P<0.05).Insomnia severity index scale(ISI)score, treatment 0,2,4 weeks and 8 weeks follow-up data comparison, the treatment group comparison difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the comparison between the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of data before treatment(P>0.05);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)after 2 weeks,4 weeks of treatment and during follow-up.Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores, treatment 0,2,4 weeks and 8 weeks follow-up data comparison, the treatment group group difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the comparison between the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of data before treatment and during follow-up(P>0.05);there was a statistically significant difference in data between the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores, comparison of data at 0,2,4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the difference in the treatment group was statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the control group(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of data before treatment(P>0.05);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)after 2 weeks,4 weeks of treatment and during follow-up.The overall efficacy comparison, the treatment group has a total effective rate of 82.76%,and the control group has a total effective rate of 46.67%.There is a significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:1)Acupoint application combined with sleep hygiene education can effectively treat insomnia with deficiency of both heart and spleen. The treatment group has better efficacy than the control group.2)The treatment group is better than the control group in shortening sleep latency, maintaining sleep continuity, and prolonging total sleep time, and it can also improve fatigue.Pain, dizziness, anorexia, loose stools and other symptoms.3)The treatment group is better than the control group in improving anxiety, depression and other symptoms of patients with insomnia.4)Drug application combined with sleep hygiene education to treat insomnia,painless,non-invasive,high safety and applicable to a wide range of people.
