Objective and significanceTo study the local slow-release epidermal growth factor to.promote anastomotic healing after laparoscopic rectal cancer resection, provide guarantee for laparoscopic low rectal cancer resection, reduce complications and improve efficacy.Research methodsScreening patients with rectal cancer, undergoing neoadjuvant laparoscopic TME operation, placing a self-made perfusion tube through the anus after operation, and pumping the EGF solution at a constant flow rate and constant pressure as planned,so that EGF continues to soak at the anastomosis and maintain a certain concentration,After 72 hours, pull out the perfusion tube, and at the same time set up a control group(given the same method of instillation, infusion of saline).Set up the main observation index(the incidence of anastomotic leakage)and the secondary observation index(local tumor recurrence rate)..ResultsThe trial included 84 cases that met the inclusion criteria, including 38 cases in the experimental group and 45 cases in the control group. The research group collected all patients’ age, gender, duration of disease, length of operation, and postoperative complications, and clarified the relevant data of patients with lymph node metastasis and tumor TNM staging, and conducted relevant analysis. We found that the experimental group and the control group were at age,There were no significant differences in gender, course of disease, length of operation, lymph node metastasis, and tumor TNM staging(P>0.05).Based on the classification standard and clinical diagnosis basis of the International Rectal Cancer Research Group anastomotic fistula, anastomotic fistula as the test positive.According to this diagnostic criteria, the statistical results are as follows.3 out of 38 patients in the experimental group had anastomotic leakage, with an incidence rate of 7.89%;4 out of 45 patients in the control group had anastomotic leakage, with an incidence rate of 8.89%.There was no significant difference in the incidence of anastomotic leakage between the two groups(P=0.0741).The incidence of anastomotic leakage in the control group was 8.89%,which was consistent with domestic and foreign literature studies..According to the test results, there is no significant statistical difference between growth factors in preventing anastomotic leakage in rectal cancer. There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in terms of gender, age, course of disease, length of operation, lymph node metastasis, tumor TNM staging,etc.(P>0.05).
