Meta Analysis Of Clinical Efficacy Of Simiao Yongan Decoction In The Treatment Of Arteriosclerosis Obliterans Of Lower Extremities

Objective: In this study,meta-analysis was used to prove the clinical efficacy of Simiao Yongan Decoction in the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower extremities,and to provide certain reference for clinical research.Methods:Through computer search of Chinese and foreign databases such as CNKI,Wanfang,Weipu,CBM,Pubmed,Embase,Cochrane Library,etc.,the combined application of Simiao Yongan Decoction in the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans(arteriosclerosis obliterans,ASO)was collected.Randomized controlled trials(RCTs),starting from the establishment of the database and ending in December 2020,were conducted by two researchers in accordance with the Cochrane Handbook standards to conduct independent quality evaluation,data extraction and cross-comparison of the search results Meta analysis using Rev Man 5.3 software and Stata16 software.Results: A total of 11 studies were included,including 998 patients,including 449 in the experimental group and 449 in the control group.Meta analysis showed that the total effective rate of the experimental group in the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans [RR = 1.29,95%CI(1.21,1.38),P < 0.05],Ankle brachial index remission [MD = 0.12,95% CI(0.10,0.15),P < 0.00001],tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)[MD =-16.86,95% CI(-22.91,-10.81),P < 0.00001],interleukin-6(IL-6)[MD =-0.77,95% CI(-0.08,-0.69),P < 0.00001],whole blood high shear apparent viscosity(200s-1)[MD =-1.35,95% CI(-1.78,-0.93),P < 0.00001],Whole blood low shear apparent viscosity(3s-1)[MD =-1.13,95% CI(-1.34,-0.91),P <0.00001],plasma viscosity [MD =-0.24,95% CI(-0.27,-0.20),P < 0.00001],ulcer depth [MD =-0.62,95% CI(-0.65,-0.58),P < 0.00001],ulcer area[MD =-0.53,95% CI(-0.58,-0.49),P < 0.00001],granulation growth [MD=-0.61,95% CI(-0.66,-0.56),P < 0.00001],In terms of total effective rate and ankle brachial index,there was no significant publication bias in the inverted funnel plot of Begg test and egger test.Conclusion: Based on the results of meta-analysis,Simiao Yongan decoction has a significant effect on the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans,and has a certain clinical guiding role for the clinical research on the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans.However,more high-quality studies are needed to further demonstrate this conclusion,and its safety needs to be systematically evaluated.
