Clinical Observation On Self-made Decoction By Fumigation-washing Therapy In Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis Of Cold-dampness Blockade Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of self-made decoction by fumigation-washing therapy in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)with cold-dampness blockade,so as to provide reference for TCM external treatment of RA with cold-dampness blockade syndrome.Methods: From January 2019 to September 2020,60 patients in the Department of Rheumatology,the Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine were selected.They have been diagnosed as RA before.According to the random number table method,60 patients who have met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group within 30 cases and control group within 30 cases.The control group was given methotrexate 10 mg / time,oral once a week;meloxicam 7.5mg/time,oral twice a day.Both drugs were taken after meals.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was treated with self-made decoction by fumigation-washing therapy.After 3 months of successive treatment,the final clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically analyzed,including the changes of some TCM symptom,DAS28,CDAI,SDAI score,the level of CRP,RF,ESR and safety index were all observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment,so as to assess the clinical efficacy of self-made decoction by fumigation therapy in the treatment of RA with cold-dampness blockade syndrome.Results:(1)In terms of disease treatment effect: the total effective rate of self-made decoction by fumigation and washing therapy in the treatment of RA cold-dampness blockade syndrome(90%),which was significantly higher than that without the use of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine(73%),and the overall clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(2)After treatment,the TCM symptom scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),including arthralgia,swelling,tenderness,morning stiffness,joint flexion and extension disadvantageous,joint cold,etc.And the decrease of the scores of the treatment group was significantly greater than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)The disease activity:DAS28,CDAI,SDAI scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The scores of DAS28,CDAI,SDAI of the treatment group after treatment were significantly better than those of the control group(P < 0.01);(4)CRP,RF and ESR of these two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the levels of the above three indexes in this treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The self-made decoction by fumigation and washing therapy combined with western medicine can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs,reduce the inflammatory index level,reduce the activity of the disease,as well as significantly improve the clinical efficacy.
