| Objective:Tne investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of Shuyu pill modified prescription(decoction)combined with filiform-fire needle in treating vitiligo of qi-blood deficiency type,and the effects on serum IL-17A,IL-22 and quality of life(DLQI).Methods:The 70 cases of vitiligo with deficiency of qi and blood were divided into two groups according to random number table.The experimental group was treated with Chinese medicine decoction“Dioscorea pill”combined with filiform-fire needle,while the control group was treated with only filiform-fire needle.The serum levels of IL-17A and IL-22 were detected in30 healthy volunteers.The experimental group and the control group were treated for 12 weeks.The area of white spot was measured before treatment and 4,8 and 12 weeks after treatment.The curative effect was evaluated by the change of the area of white spot before and after treatment,before and after treatment,the pigment score,TCM symptom score and DLQI score were compared.The serum levels of IL-17A and IL-22 were detected before and after treatment.Results:32 cases were completed in the experimental group,33 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the healthy group.None of the patients had obvious adverse reactions during the treatment period.The following results were obtained through statistical analysis:(1)After 12 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 90.62%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 63.63%.There was statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05).(2)The area of white spot in the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant(P<0.05),which showed that both groups could reduce the area of white spot,and both groups were effective in reducing the area of white spot at the 4th week,the area of white spot in the experimental group decreased from 12.59±3.34(cm~2)to 4.39±2.52(cm~2),and that in the control group decreased from11.78±3.75(cm~2)to 7.62±3.02(cm~2).(3)There was a significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),which showed that both groups could improve the pigment score,and there was a significant difference between the two groups after 12 weeks treatment(P<0.05),the results showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving the pigment of white spot.(4)There was a significant difference in TCM symptom integral before and after treatment in the experimental group(P<0.05),which showed that Dioscorea pill combined with filiform fire needle could improve the symptoms of qi-blood deficiency in the patients,and the symptom integral integral before and after treatment in the control group was compared,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that fire needle therapy alone could not improve the symptoms of qi-blood deficiency.(5)The DLQI scores of the experimental group and the control group were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both methods could improve the quality of life,and the DLQI scores of the two groups were significantly different after 12 weeks treatment(P<0.05),the results showed that the improvement of the quality of life in the experimental group was more obvious than that in the control group.(6)The serum levels of IL-17A and IL-22 in the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment were significantly different from those in the healthy control group(P<0.05),indicating that the serum levels of IL-17A and IL-22 in the two groups before and after treatment were higher than those in the healthy people The levels of serum IL-17A and IL-22 in Vitiligo Group and Vitiligo Group were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.05).The results showed that the levels of serum IL-17A and IL-22 in Vitiligo Group and Vitiligo Group were decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the experimental group was more significant than the control group in reducing the levels of IL-17A and IL-22.Conclusion:It is safe and effective to treat vitiligo of deficiency of qi and blood with Shuyu pill modified prescription(decoction)and filiform-fire needle,it has better effect in reducing the area of white spot,improving the integral of pigment,improving the symptom of TCM,improving the quality of life,lowering the level of serum IL-17A and IL-22,... |
