Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Peppermint Oil Combined With Auricular Point Sticking In Hypertension Patients With Hyperactivity Of Liver-fire

Objective:To observe the effect of peppermint oil combined with auricular point sticking in hypertension patients with hyperactivity of liver-fire,and to provide a new method for the treatment of hypertension on the basis of the guidelines.Method:The selection criteria and exclusion criteria must be followed before the experiment,60 hypertension patients with hyperactivity of liver-fire were selected as observation objects and randomly grouped by computer.Control group:treated by pressing beans on ear points;Test group:treated by peppermint oil combined with auricular point pressing.Take the Shenmen and the liver in the ear as the stimulation point.TCM syndromes,ABPM and DCG were recorded before treatment.On the basis of the standardized treatment,the seeds soaked in Vaseline were pasted on selected acupoints in the control group.The patients were asked to press them once a day in the morning,middle and evening,1 minute each time,and the degree of being able to bear the pain of acid swelling was taken as the degree.Remove and replace the other ear every three days.The test group was treated with peppermint oil Vaseline mixed ointment combined with auricular plaster on selected acupoints,the same operation as the control group was adopted in other respects.After 3 weeks,the changes of each index were measured again.To evaluate the clinical effect of peppermint oil combined with auricular point sticking in patients with hyperactivity of liver fire.Results:1.blood pressure:After treatment,the blood pressure of the two groups of patients was lower than before(P<0.01);the test group proved better(P<0.05).2.Coefficient of variation of blood pressure:Compared with before treatment,the blood pressure fluctuation range of the two groups of patients was significantly reduced(the control group:P<0.05;the test group:P<0.01);the test group proved better on 24hSBPCV and dSBPCV(P<0.05).3.heart rate:Compared with before treatment,the average heart rate of the two groups of patients dropped significantly after treatment;the test group proved better(P<0.05).4.Clinical symptoms:It showed that the scores of TCM syndromes of the two groups of patients decreased after treatment(P<0.01);the test group proved better(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Two treatments can lower blood pressure and blood pressure variability,reduce heart rate and TCM Syndromes of patients with hyperactivity of liver-fire.2.Compared with a single auricular point seed pressing,auricular point seed pressing with peppermint oil proved better on SBP and heart rate,and improve patients’ life quality more effectively.
