The Clinical Study On The Optimal Method Of Acupuncture In Treating Hypertension With Hyperactivity Of Liver Yang

Purpose:The purpose of this study is evaluating the clinical efficacy and difference of acupuncture,Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point and acupuncture combined with Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point in the treatment of mild EH with hyperactive liver Yang type through observing the clinical efficacy of three therapies in curing essential hypertension,aiming at selecting the optimal treatment method for the mild EH.Method:The 99 patients who match the requirements of the project were randomly assigned to the Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point group(auricular point group),acupuncture group and auricular point combined acupuncture group(combined group),and each group includes 33 patients.The auricular points including liver,kidney,Sanjiao and sympathetic were selected to accept Cowherb Seed Pressing.The acupuncture points including Hegu and Taichong were selected to accept acupuncturing.The points including liver,kidney,Sanjiao,sympathetic,Hegu and Taichong were selected to accept combining acupuncturing and Cowherb Seed Pressing.The patients received treatment once a day and 21 days in total.The observation indicators of this study is The blood pressure measured before treating and treating 1-21 days and the TCM syndrome scores evacuated before treating and after treating for 21 days.Meanwhile,the researcher needed to observe record and analyze the observation indicators aiming at evaluating the clinical antihypertensive effect of acupuncture,Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point and acupuncture combined with Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point.Result:The Statistical analysis shows that there is no difference about age,gender,duration,BMI,blood pressure and the TCM syndrome scores among three groups(P > 0.05).The Blood pressure: 1.The blood pressure of the auricular point group and the acupuncture group on the 7th day-21 th day was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P >0.05),and the blood pressure of the combined group on 3th day-21 th day was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P >0.05),indicating that three treatment method could effectively reduce blood pressure.2.The comparison of the blood pressure change trend among the three groups showed that the Roy maximum root of blood pressure in the three groups had significant significance(P<0.05),and there was a significant difference between blood pressure and the interactive test of different treatment methods(P<0.05),indicating that the blood pressure of the three groups changed significantly with time,and there was a difference in the overall curve of blood pressure change among the three groups.3.The comparison of blood pressure among the three groups at each observation time : the compares between the auricular point group BP with the acupuncture group BP at each observation time shows no statistically significant(P > 0.05),the compares between the combined group SBP with the acupuncture group SBP at 11 th,21th day shows statistically significant(P <0.05),the compares between the combined group SBP with the auricular point group SBP at 11 th,13th,17 th,21th day shows statistically significant(P < 0.05),the compares between the combined group DBP with the auricular point group DBP at 11 th,13th day shows statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the three groups after treatment of 21 d,the combined group’SBP is lower than other groups.The results showed that the effect of the acupuncture combined with Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point in reduceing SBP is better than acupuncture and the Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point.The TCM syndrome 1.The effective rate of improving the TCM syndrome in auricular point group,acupuncture group and combined group respectively was 79.3%,90% and 96.70%,;there was statistically significant between without treatment and after treatment with TCM syndrome points,while the comparison between the three groups after treatment was not statistically significant(P >0.05),showing that the three treatment methods could effectively improve the TCM symptoms of mild EH(hyperactivity of liver Yang),and there was no significant difference in the efficacy of improving TCM symptoms.2.The comparison of the TCM symptom score between Without treatment and after treatment among the three groups showed that the TCM symptom score of dizziness,headache,insomnia,dysphoria in chestpalms-soles had significant significance between before and after treatment among the three groups(P <0.05),knee soft,heart palpitations,tinnitus and forgetful symptoms integral group compared with no statistical significance(P > 0.05),showed that three kinds of treatment can effectively improve the TCM symptom of dizziness,headache,insomnia,dysphoria in chestpalms-soles.Conclusion: 1.Acupuncture,Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point and acupuncture combined with Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point can effectively reduce the blood pressure of patients with mild EH(hyperactive liver Yang type),The results showed that the effect of the acupuncture combined with Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point in reducing SBP is better than acupuncture and the Cowherb Seed Pressing auricular point.2.The onset time of auricular acupressure bean combined with acupuncture treatment was earlier than the other two treatments.The blood pressure in the combined treatment group decreased by more than that in the acupuncture group and the auricular acupoint group during 9-13 d of treatment,and the blood pressure in the acupuncture group and the auricular acupoint group showed the same downward trend.3.The three treatment methods can effectively improve the TCM symptoms of patients with mild EH(hyperactivity of liver Yang),especially for vertigo,headache and insomnia,and there is no significant difference in the efficacy of the three groups in improving TCM symptoms.
