Objective:The main purpose of this clinical trial is to observe the intervention effect of balanced chiropractic treatment on cervicogenic headache, and analyze its main mechanism of action,so as to provide a certain clinical basis for balanced chiropractic treatment in the treatment of cervicogenic headache, and further broaden the treatment idea of cervicogenic headache. Methods:Sixty patients with cervicogenic headache meeting the inclusion criteria were collected and divided into balanced chiropractic treatment group and routine acupuncture and pushing group by random number table method. The treatment methods of the balanced chiropractic treatment group were acupuncture, massage and upper neck reconstruction, while the treatment methods of the conventional acupuncture and pushing group were mainly based on the teaching materials"Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapeutics" and "Massage Science" of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Both groups were treated 3 times a week for a total of 12 times. This study used the following observation indicators:cervicogenic headache score rules(JOA),headache impact test score(HIT-6),visual analogue scale(VAS)for pain. The relevant data were collected before and after 12 times of treatment, and the differences in scores between and within groups were compared to analyze the differences in efficacy of the two methods.Results:(1)Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the three observation indexes between the two groups(P>0.05),and the patients in the two groups were comparable.(2)After treatment, there were statistically significant differences in JOA,VAS and HIT-6 scores between the two groups(P<0.05).It shows that both of the two treatment methods can well deal with patients’ headache problems.(3)Cervicogenic headache score rules(JOA):after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),suggesting that after 1 course of treatment, the balanced chiropractic treatment group had a better effect on improving subjective symptoms and clinical signs than the conventional acupuncture and pushing group.(4)Visual analogue scale of pain(VAS):After treatment, the score of the balanced chiropractic treatment group decreased more significantly(P<0.05),suggesting that the balanced chiropractic treatment group had more advantages in reducing headache degree after 1 course of treatment.(5)Headache influence measurement score(HIT-6 score):after 1 course of treatment, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that after 12 times of treatment, the balanced chiropractic treatment group could better improve the quality of life, improve the efficiency of work and study.(6)Clinical efficacy:After treatment, the total effective rates of the balanced chiropractic treatment group and the conventional acupuncture and pushing group were 100%and 93.33%respectively(P>0.05),indicating that both of these two treatment methods can effectively treat cervicogenic headache.Conclusion:(1)Balanced chiropractic treatment method and conventional acupuncture and pushing method can effectively treat cervicogenic headache, improve headache degree, attack frequency and duration of patients.(2)Balanced chiropractic treatment therapy is more effective in addressing major symptoms and relieving pain.(3)Balanced chiropractic treatment has more advantages in improving the quality of life of patients with cervicogenic headache and improving learning and working efficiency.Through the comparative study of clinical efficacy,it is considered that the balanced chiropractic treatment has a clear effect, high safety and no side effects in the intervention of cervicogenic headache. It has clinical guiding significance and is worthy of promotion. |
