Objective:To study the efficacy of transcutaneous acupoint electrical stimulation combined with auricular point seed embedding therapy in relieving body dysmorphic disorder(BDD)in patients with repair rhinoplasty, and to provide a new idea for clinical treatment of BDD.Methods:42 cases of BDD patients seeking repair rhinoplasty were divided into experimental group and control group,21 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with transcutaneous acupoint electrical stimulation combined with auricular point seed-embedding therapy for 4 weeks, and the control group received false acupoint electrical stimulation combined with false ear acupoint embedding treatment. Before and after the treatment cycle, the patients filled in the BDD-YBOCS,BDI-2 Beck Depression Inventory, and BAI-Beck Anxiety Inventory. We evaluate the efficacy by comparing whether there was a difference in the BDD-YBOCS,BDI-2、BAI score after intervention between the two groups.Results:1.There was no difference in BDD-YBOCS score between the two groups before the intervention(P>0.05);after the intervention, the BDD-YBOCS score in the experimental group was lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Whether it is the experimental group or the control group, the BDD-YBOCS scores after intervention were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05)2.The overall response rate in the experimental group(66.67%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the Beck Anxiety Scale score and depression score before intervention(P>0.05).After the intervention, the mean scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the scores of the two scales after the intervention in the experimental group were significantly lower than those before the intervention(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in scale scores before and after intervention in the control group(P>0.05).4.There was no significant correlation between BDD-YBOCS before intervention and anxiety scale score before intervention(P>0.05).5.There was no significant correlation between BDD-YBOCS before intervention and depression scale score before intervention(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.transcutaneous acupoint electrical stimulation combined with auricular point seed embedding therapy can effectively reduce BDD in patients with repair rhinoplasty, and relieve anxiety and depression in these patients, which has a certain clinical practical value.2.There was no significant correlation between the degree of BDD,anxiety and depression in patients with nasal repair.
