Objective: To investigate the status quo of mindfulness, mental resilience and self-perceived burden in stroke patients. To clarify the differences among the level of mindfulness, mental resilience and self-perceived burden in the general demographic characteristics of stroke patients; To analyze the correlation between the level of mindfulness, mental resilience and self-perceived burden in stroke patients, and to explore the important influencing factors of self-perceived burden in stroke patients,so as to provide a reliable clinical basis for clinical nursing workers to develop effective clinical intervention measures for stroke patients. Methods: A total of 304 stroke patients were selected from a class A hospital in Jilin province by convenience sampling method. The general demographic questionnaire, the Mindful Attention Perception Scale(MAAS),the CD-RISC Mental Resilience Scale and the Chinese version of the Self-perceived Burden-Scale(SPBS)were used to quantitatively evaluate the patients’ annual level, mental resilience and self-perceived burden.Chinese statistical software SPSS 20.0 was used for data calculation. The measurement data, standard deviation, enumeration data and percentage were used to represent the demographic characteristics, level of mindfulness, mental resilience and the status quo of self-perceived burden of stroke patients. The difference of the level of mindfulness, mental resilience and self-perceived burden among stroke patients with different demographic characteristics by t-test or ANOVA;Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the relationship between the level of mindfulness, mental resilience and self-perceived burden of stroke patients.Multivariate linear regression was used to analyze the important influencing factors of self-burden in stroke patients.P < 0.05 in this study indicates significant statistical difference, which has clinical research value.Result:(1)(1)The total score of the subjects’ mindfulness level was 76.51±7.82(full score was 90).There was statistical significance between the different genders, ages, educational level, understanding of the illness of the stroke patients and payment methods for medical expenses, and mindfulness level in stroke patients(p<0.05).(2)The total score of mental elasticity of control of the subjects was 39.54±9.67(full score: 100).The patients’ mental elasticity had statistical significance in gender, age, ethnical groups, educational level, marital status and duration of illness score(p<0.05).(3)The self-perceived burden score of the study subjects was 28.92 5.91 points(full score was 50 points),and there was statistical significance in the scores of different genders, ages, education levels, marital status, disease awareness.(4)The level of mindfulness was positively correlated with the psychological elasticity(r = 0.764,p < 0.01),the level of mindfulness was negatively correlated with the burden of self-perception(r=-0.668,p < 0.01),and the psychological elasticity was negatively correlated with the burden of self-perception(r=-0.732,p <0.01).(5)Medical expenses payment method, disease diagnosis type, understanding of the condition, family per capita monthly income, time of illness, level of mindfulness, mental resilience were included in the regression equation affecting the self-perceived burden of stroke patients, which could jointly explain 67.1% of the overall variation degree, among which mental resilience was the most predictive.Conclusions:(1)The level of mindfulness in stroke patients was good;Psychological resilience is at a low level; The self-perceived burden is mostly in the middle level.(2)The higher the level of mindfulness in stroke patients, the better their mental elasticity;the higher the level of mindfulness and mental elasticity, the less their self-perceived burden.(3)The main influencing factors of self-perceived burden of stroke patients included age, gender, cultural background, disease diagnosis type, nationality, marital status, payment method, disease perception, per capita monthly income of family, disease course, level of mindfulness, and mental resilience. |
