The Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Shenque External Application Of Changtong Powder On The Recovery Of Gastrointestinal Function After Gastrointestinal Operation

Objective With the attention paid to postoperative complications,timely intervention to prevent postoperative complications has become an important part of postoperative treatment.Postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction is one of the common postoperative complications.Different surgeries have different effects on gastrointestinal motility.Generally,abdominal surgery,especially gastrointestinal surgery,has a greater impact on gastrointestinal motility.In this study,patients with gastrointestinal surgery as the research object,using Shenque external application of Changtong Powder as the intervention measures,through a randomized controlled trial method,respectively from gastrointestinal function related indicators,clinical symptom scores and other aspects to evaluate the efficacy of Shenque external application of Changtong Powder on postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery.The aim is to further verify the efficacy of Chang tong Powder for external use,and to provide the clinical basis for its clinical application.Method In this study,60 patients who were admitted to the general surgery ward of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and underwent gastrointestinal surgery from May 2019 to January 2021 were selected strictly according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.All patients were divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table.The control group received conventional postoperative treatment,the main methods include prohibitive diet,gastrointestinal decompression through gastrointestinal decompression tube,anti-infection with antibiotics,nutritional status correction with x-protein and so on,as well as intravenous infusion(2500-3000ml a day)to maintain the body’s water,electrolyte and acid-base balance,health promotion to patients,encouraging patients to get out of bed after surgery and maintain physical and mental pleasure,etc.Treatment group in the control group on the basis of postoperative Shenque external application of Changtong Powder treatment,daily dressing change.Postoperative recovery time of gastrointestinal function,postoperative TCM symptom score,relevant laboratory indicators and total effective rate of patients in the two groups were recorded.SPSS26.0 software was used to conduct statistical analysis on the data,and the clinical effect of Shenque external application Changtong Powder on gastrointestinal function recovery of patients after gastrointestinal surgery was evaluated.At the same time,in view of the difference in the clinical efficacy of patients undergoing gastric and colon surgery,the efficacy of patients undergoing gastric and intestinal surgery in the subgroup was evaluated separately.Results According to the study,no matter the patients underwent gastric surgery or colon surgery,compared with the control group,the recovery time of gastrointestinal function in the treatment group was shorter,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Abdominal distension symptom score was performed on postoperative day 2,3 and 5,respectively.Comparison among groups showed that symptom score in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of the abdominal distension symptom scores of patients in the same group on the 2nd,3rd and 5th day after surgery showed that the abdominal distension symptoms of patients in the treatment group were improved earlier and the effect was sustained.The plasma motilin level(MTL)in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group on the third day after surgery,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall effective rate of the treatment group was also much higher than that of the control group.Conclusion AbDOMINAL postoperative patients with Shenque external application Changtong Powder therapy,can promote patients recovery of gastrointestinal function,mainly reflected in the recovery of postoperative bowel sounds,anal exhaust and defecate have promoting effect,to slow down the symptoms of postoperative abdominal distention has the advantages of the quick effect,good curative effect,can improve the level of gastric body moving element,in the clinical application of high safety,efficacy significantly.
