Clinical Study On "Five-Elements Regulating Mental Activities" In The Treatment Of Vertigo With Kidney Essence Deficiency Syndrome

Objective: To stud y the clinical efficacy on "Five-elements Regulating Mental Activities” in the treatment of vertigo with kidney essence deficienc y syndrome,and further anal yze its possible mechanism to provide a new ?effective?less adverse reaction and popularized optimal treatment scheme.Methods: According to the random number list,the enrolled patients were randoml y divided into two groups,each with 45 cases.All patients were given conventional vestibular rehabilitation training.The “Five-elements Regulating Mental Activities” group was given five elements music therap y combined with scalp acupuncture,the milnacipran group was given oral milnacipran tablets,and both groups were treated once a day,6 times a week,lasting for 8 weeks.HAMD-17、 HAMA-14、 NPQ、 the TCM Syndrome Scale were recorded before and after treatment,and compare the treatment effects of the two groups.Results: Actuall y enrolled 85 patients with vertigo and kidney essence deficiency s yndrome,there was no significant difference in the general information、 HAMD-17、 HAMA-14、 NPQ and TCM s yndrome Scale scores before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),HAMD-17、 HAMA-14 and NPQ scores are moderatel y positivel y correlated,the HAMD-17、 HAMA-14、NPQ and TCM s yndrome Scale score of the two groups were significantl y improved compared with before treatment(P=0.000).After treatment,there were no differences in the scores of HAMD-17,HAMA-14,NPQ and TCM Syndrome Scale in the “Five-elements Regulating Mental Activities” group and the milnacipran group(P>0.05),among them,there are difference in the visual timulation score in the NPQ scale(P=0.031).There was no significant difference in clinical effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05),There was significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1."Five-elements Regulating Mental Activities” can effectivel y treat vertigo with kidney essence deficiency s yndrome,which is similar to that of oral minapram tablets.Patients has high compliance and reduces the cost of medication.2.The severit y of vertigo has a direct linear relationship with the severit y of anxiet y and depression.3." Five-elements Regulating Mental Activities” can improve the patient’s emotions,accelerate the recover y of vertigo d ysfunction,breaks the vicious circle of re-adaptation failure,and at the same time improves the patient’s enthusiasm for vestibular rehabilitation training and enhances the self-confidence of patients.
