Objective: To observe the clinical effects of "five-elements regulating mental activities" method in the treatment of mild-to-moderate post-stroke depression,so as to provide a new effective, less side effects and generalizable treatment method for the treatment of post-stroke depression. Methods: 66 patients with post-stroke depression(mild-to-moderate)were collected from the Department of rehabilitation medicine, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine. The patients were divided into treatment group and control group randomly according to the order of treatment, with 33 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine drug treatment(including blood pressure reduction, blood lipid reduction, antiplatelet aggregation and other oral drugs)and rehabilitation treatment. The treatment group was given "five-elements regulating mental activities" method, that is,acupuncture at acupoints(Baihui,Yintang, shenting)at the head of the needle and Jiao Tune of five element music therapy, andthe control group was given sertraline hydrochloride orally. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. At the end of treatment,17 items of Hamilton Depression(HAMD),Barthel Index(BI),strokespecific quality of life scale(SS-QOL)and clinical efficacy were compared before and 4 weeks after treatment, and the data were statistically analyzed. Results: there was no significant difference in HAMD-17,BI and SS-QOL scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,HAMD-17 score of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05);BI and SS-QOL scores of the two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment, and the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05);after the treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, the results showed that the clinical efficiency of the treatment group was 93.33%,of which 6 cases were cured,14 cases were effective,8 cases were effective The clinical effective rate of control group was 73.33%,in which 1 case was cured,9 cases were effective,12 cases were effective and 8 cases were ineffective. After rank sum test, the difference of clinical effect was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: the method of "five-elements regulating mental activities" can effectively improve the depression state of patients with post-stroke depression, and help patients to improve their limb function and daily life ability.Compared with the western medicine group,it can achieve better clinical treatment effect, suggesting that the "five-elements regulating mental activities" method has obvious advantages in the treatment of post stroke depression, which is worthy of clinical promotion. |
