Objective:To explore the clinical application value of Acrysof IQ Restor Toric intraocular lens(ART).Methods:Retrospective analysis.A total of 79 patients(85 eyes)who underwent cataract su rgery and corneal astigmatism ≥0.75 D in our hospital from January 2015 to October2020 were collected. The patients were divided into two groups: The ART group unde rwent phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined with ART intraocular lens impl antation;the Toric group underwent phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined w ith Toric intraocular lens implantation.Collecting preoperative data of patients: gender, age, eye type, corneal astigmatism, intraocular pressure, axial length,Basic tear secreti on 、lens power,UDVA,CDVA;Postoperative data: UDVA,CDVA,UIVA,CIVA,UN VA,CNVA,drawing defocus Curve, residual astigmatism,OPD-Scan Ⅲ wavefront abe rration instrument to measure the lens rotation axis, total aberration,high-order aberrati on,spherical aberration, coma, clover aberration,MTF,SR;using questionnaires to inv estigate postoperative vision of patients Function-related quality of life, satisfaction,an d loss of lens rate.Results:1.The postoperative UNVA and UIVA of the ART group were better than those of the Toric group(near: P<0.01;intermediate P=0.039),but there was no statistically significant comparison between the UDVA,CDVA,CIVA,and CNVA groups(P>0.05).2.The comparison of preoperative corneal astigmatism and postoperative residual astigmatism between the ART group and the Toric group was statistically significant(P<0.01),but the comparison between the ART group and the Toric group after the residual astigmatism group was not statistically significant(P=0.841).3.There was no statistically significant comparison of the degree of rotation of the crystals between the ART group and the Toric group(P=0.953).4.The defocus curve of the Toric group was single-peaked,with one focal point at 0D;the defocused curve of the ART group was double-peaked,forming two focal points at 0D and-2.5D,and the visual acuity at the mid-range focal point was slightly decreased. The ART group provided a wider focal depth range(+1.5D ~-4.0D),while the Toric focal depth ranged(+1.0D~-1.50D).5.When the pupil diameter was 4mm,the MTF value of the Toric group at 5c/d spatial frequency was better than that of the ART group(P<0.05).When the pupil diameter was 4mm,the SR of the Toric group was better than that of the ART group(P<0.01);when the pupil diameter was 6mm,the SR was not statistically significant(P=0.521).6.When the pupil diameter was 4mm and 6mm,the total aberration,higher-order aberration, spherical aberration, coma, and clover aberration of the ART group and the Toric group were not statistically significant(P>0.05).7.The ART group ’s the rate of removal of the naked eye with intermediate sight and near sight were better than the Toric group(intermediate: P=0.026;near: P<0.01),while the rate of removal of the naked eye with distance sight was not statistically significant(P=0.358).8.The ART group’s satisfaction with intermediate sight and near sight was better than that in the Toric group(intermediate: P=0.027;near: P<0.01),while the distance satisfaction was not statistically significant(P=0.54).9.The VF-14 scale score after the operation in the ART group was better than that in the Toric group(P<0.01).Inconclusions:1.ART intraocular lens can effectively correct astigmatism without increasing postoperative aberrations and provide full postoperative vision.2.ART intraocular lens had a high rate of lens removal, good satisfaction and high quality of life.3.ART and Toric intraocular lenses both had good crystal stability.
