| Objective: To investigate the effect of phacoemulsification combined with toric IOL implantation on different corneal astigmatism. To guide the clinical examination of cataract and corneal astigmatism and to provide a basis for improving the prognosis of patients and provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of these patients. Methods: 27 cases(27eyes)of cataract combined with corneal astigmatism treated in our hospital from July 2015 to July 2017.The patients’ age from 43 to 88 years old.According to the degree of corneal astigmatism before operation, they were divided into 2 groups, group A 14 eyes group B 13 eyes.Group A with corneal astigmatism-1.0D~-2.0D,group B with corneal astigmatism more than-2.0D,underwent phacoemulsification and toric IOL implantation were performed in all two groups. The clinical data of each group were collected and the patients were followed up after operation.Preoperative and postoperative corneal refractive status, postoperative subjective symptoms, ocular surface condition, uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA),best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),astigmatism, astigmatism correction rate, corneal curvature measurement by corneal curvature instrument were investigated.Effect comparison between A group and B group of phacoemulsification and toric IOL implantation on different degrees of astigmatism of corneal astigmatism were compared between two groups before surgery, postoperative 1 day,7 days,1 month,3 months,6 months, the change of corneal astigmatism, all experimental data on average and standard deviation, statistical analysis using t test and rank sum test,to P<0.05 said the difference was statistically significant. Results: Statistical analysis showed that the two groups of patients with postoperative uncorrected visual acuity compared with preoperative significant difference;group A and group B were no significant differences in preoperative corneal astigmatism and postoperative 1 day,7 days,1 month,3 months and 6 months, and the residual astigmatism decreased significantly.Conclusion:1.For the preoperative corneal astigmatism 1.0D-2.0D,phacoemulsification and toric IOL implantation have no effect on it,naked eye vision has improved.2.For the preoperative corneal astigmatism≥2.0D,phacoemulsification and toric IOL implantation have no effect on it and obtain better naked eye vision.3.Phacoemulsification combined with toric IOL implantation can obtain effective reduction of postoperative residual astigmatism, the patient does not need to wear an additional astigmatic glasses. |
