Effect Of Qufeng Huatan Decoction On Morning Peak Of Blood Pressure In Elderly Patients With Hypertension(Wind-phlegm Upward Disturbance Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the effect of Qufeng Huatan Decoction on the morning peak of blood pressure in elderly patients with hypertension(Fengphlegm disturbance syndrome).Methods: 66 patients who met the requirements of the project were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,33 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with western medicine,and the treatment group was additionally treated with Qufeng Huatan Decoction on the basis of oral western medicine.The treatment course of both groups was14 days.The morning peak of blood pressure,the morning peak efficacy of blood pressure,the dynamic blood pressure value,the dynamic blood pressure efficacy,the TCM single symptom score,the TCM symptom total score,the TCM symptom efficacy and the safety indexes were observed before and after treatment,and the observation indexes were compared and analyzed.Results: two groups of patients after treatment of blood pressure in the morning peak,24-hour ambulatory blood pressure value,treatment of TCM symptoms in the former has obvious curative effect(P < 0.01),the treatment group in improving blood pressure morning peak,such as wrapped head,head pain,chest tightness new full symptoms and syndromes curative effect is better than that in control group(P < 0.01),efficacy,and24-hour systolic blood pressure,blood pressure in the morning peak systolic blood pressure during the day,24 hours ambulatory blood pressure efficacy and vomit saliva sputum symptoms,the treatment group therapy effect is better than that of control group(P< 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of24-hour diastolic blood pressure,daytime diastolic blood pressure,nocturnal systolic blood pressure,nocturnal diastolic blood pressure,tinnitus and less food and sleep(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in other safety indexes before and after treatment.Conclusion: Qufenghuatan prescription can significantly improve the morning peak of blood pressure in elderly patients with hypertension(wind and phlegm disturbance syndrome),play an effective role in reducing blood pressure,and improve the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,with less adverse reactions.
