Study On The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Subacute Thyroiditis In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective: To carry out standardized research of endemic subacute thyroiditis so as to formulate a scientific,clinical,practical,and standardized “Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment standard of subacute thyroiditis”.Methods: 1.Based on comprehensive analysis of literature,expert questionnaire survey was conducted twice with Delphi method.The database was established,and the data were processed and analyzed.Indexes including positive coefficient of experts,mean of items(X),rank sum(S),standard deviation(s),unimportant percentage(R)and coefficient of variation(CV)were calculated.Expert suggestions were inputted and processed to make the expert opinions and views tend to be consistent so as to forme the rough draft of diagnosis and treatment standard.2.The first draft of diagnosis and treatment standard was formed after discussed and revised the rough draft on expert demonstration meeting.3.The contents of the first draft was revised and supplemented through peer consultation.4.The final draft for censorship of “Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment standard of subacute thyroiditis” was formed through the review of the expert guidance group.The final draft included the contents of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome types,syndrome characteristics,syndrome differentiation and treatment,prevention,and nursing methods of subacute thyroiditis.Results: A scientific,clinical,practical,standardized,and suitable for local“Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment standard of subacute thyroiditis” was formed.The most common four syndrome types of subacute thyroiditis,including syndrome of heat-toxin congestion and excessiveness,syndrome of Qi stagnation and fire hyperactivity,syndrome of Qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation and syndrome of qi-yin deficiency syndrome were summarized.Meanwhile,the characteristics of each syndrome type and syndrome differentiation and treatment were summarized.Conclusion: The objective and standardized Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment standard of subacute thyroiditis was formed to guide the local clinical work and improve the clinical efficacy.The advantages and disadvantages of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical practice were understanded with the experience accumulated in the process.This can not only promote the development of disease and syndrome integrated treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine,but also open up new research ideas and methods for promoting the research of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of other diseases in the future.
