Clinical Efficacy Observation Of Knee Osteoarthritis Treatment With The Method Of Combined Selection Of Source Points And Connecting Points From Liver Meridian

Purpose:By comparing the curative effect of the method of combining points with the original collateral and conventional acupuncture,comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods in treatment,affirm the unique effect of the method of combining points with the collateral in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,and further explore the profound mechanism of the method of combining points with the collateral,Confirming the unique advantages of source points and connecting Point Method in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods:Seventy-five patients with knee osteoarthritis were enrolled,using a random number table method,and divided into 37 cases in the treatment group of the source points and connecting points of the liver and 38 cases in the conventional acupuncture group of the knee joint.They were treated for 5 days for 1 week and 2 weeks in total.According to the WOMAC score table,the index changes and clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were observed.Result:A total of 72 cases were counted,36 cases in each of the two groups.The effective rate of the treatment group was 94.44%,and the cure rate was 41.67%;the effective rate of the control group was 86.11%,and the cure rate was only 8%.According to the WOMAC score table,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of pain,stiffness,and range of motion of the knee joint before treatment(P>0.05);compared before and after treatment,there was a significant difference in the same group(P<0.05);treatment group,The control group showed no significant difference in pain index after treatment(P>0.05);in terms of activity index,there was a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05)Conclusion:Combined selection of source points and connecting points from Liver Meridian conventional acupuncture around knee joint are both effective in treating knee osteoarthritis and improving clinical symptoms.There is no obvious difference showed in effects of two methods in relieving pain improving rigidity of knee joint.But in terms of restoring the range of motion of knee joint,combined selection of source point and connecting point is more effective than conventional acupuncture.
