Clinical Study On Treatment Of Insomnia Of Liver-fire Disturbing Heart Type By Meridian Flow Injection Of The Heavenly Stem-prescription Of Point Selection And The Yuan-source Point

Purpose: Symptoms of insomnia include lack of deep sleep and sleep deprivation.Insomnia has badly effected the daily routine the modern people and may even endanger people’s physical and mental health.This research project on the basis of rules correspondence between man and universe,allowed time scale of qi-blood circulation in regulating bodily functions,based on meridional flow ‘heavenly stem-prescription of point selection method’,the opened source points of herbal classic and acupoints of the meridians to treat insomniacs.Compared with traditional acupuncture therapy for curing insomnia,the purpose of this research is to find out the advantages of meridional flow ‘heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuan-source point method’ on clinic treatment and generalize meridional flow ‘heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuansource point method’.Method: Clinical choose into the standard of stagnation with sixty cases then divided thirty cases as experimental group with meridional flow ‘heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuan-source point method’ for curing,and thirty cases as control group with traditional acupuncture therapy for curing by using randomized controlled trial method.The control group was treated with routine acupuncture.Besides heart meridian、liver meridian,the original Shenmen point、Taichong,heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuan-source point method was used the patients who were treated by heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuan-source point method method were kept and the original points of this meridian and its exterior and interior meridians were kept when they came,retaining the needle for thirty minutes,twice hand-manipulating during the cure,six days for 1 week,seven days as one course of treatment,four course of treatment in total.Result: In twenty twelve,the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine of China(TCM)issued the scoring criteria for insomnia syndrome of TCM and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)questionnaire as observation indexes.Compared two groups after curing there were significant differences between the two groups(P< 0.05).The total effective rate was 86.7% in the experimental group and 80% in the conventional acupuncture control group(P< o.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.Conclusion: Both Meridional flow ‘heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuan-source point method’ used in experimental group and traditional acupuncture therapy used in control group could treat liver fire harassing the heart effectively.By contrast Meridional flow ‘heavenly stem-prescription of point selection and yuan-source point method’ has better clinical effects,and could better help patient relieve discomfort.It needs to be greatly promoted.
