Objective: To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of drug-resistant tuberculosis in Kashgar,Xinjiang, and to explore its spatial aggregation,so as to provide some reference for the treatment and prevention of tuberculosis in this region in the future.Method:Data of drug-resistant tuberculosis cases in counties and cities in Kashgar,Xinjiang during 2018-2019 were collected, and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the population characteristics of Uyghur patients undergoing initial/re-treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis in Kashgar,Xinjiang,as well as their 2-month negative turn.Spatial autocorrelation analysis was used to detect the spatial distribution of drug-resistant tuberculosis in Kashgar,Xinjiang.Result: From 2018 to 2019,185 patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis were admitted to the tuberculosis prevention and control center and pulmonary hospital in Kashgar,of which 55.14 percent were male and 44.86 percent female. The number of patients in the elderly was relatively large, and people aged55-74 accounted for 47.03% of the total.81.08% of the patients were farmers. The spatial distribution showed that the "hot areas" of drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis were Zepu County and Yingjisha County, while the "cold areas" were Kashi City,Shule County,Shufu County,Yuepuhu County and Maigaiti County. Conclusion:From 2018 to 2019,the high-risk population of drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis in Kashgar area of Xinjiang is mainly as follows: male, farmers and herdsmen, the elderly population. The prevention and control measures of drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis were formulated in a planned way by strengthening the restriction and management of the high-risk population and high-gathering areas of drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis.
