| Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Wenshen Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy in the treatment of mixed urinary incontinence, compare the clinical effect difference between Wenshen Tiaoshen group and Wenshen Bazhen group in the treatment of mixed urinary incontinence, explore new clinical ideas for the treatment of mixed urinary incontinence, and provide preliminary clinical evidence. Methods:A total of 64 patients with mixed urinary incontinence from outpatient and inpatient departments of Hubei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2019 to February 2021 were selected.Through a random number table, the 64 patients were divided into the Wenshen Tiaoshen group and Wenshen Bazhen group. Both groups had the basic treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion. The Wenshen Tiaoshen group was treated with "Tiaoshen Qizhen" method combined with "Wenshen Bazhen" method, while the Wenshen Bazhen group was only treated with "Wenshen Bazhen" method.A total of 12 acupuncture treatments were performed, three times a week for four weeks. The changes of urine leakage in the 1-hour pad test, international consultation on incontinence questionnaire-short form(ICIQ-SF),Anxiety and depression Scale, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score were compared between the two groups before and after treatment and 2 weeks of follow-up.Comparing Wenshen Tiaoshen group and Wenshen Bazhen group curative effects and analyze its clinical significance.Results:1.Comparison of urine leakage in 1-hour pad test:Compared before and after treatment,1-hour pad test of both groups significantly reduced urine leakage(P < 0.01).Comparison of long-term efficacy showed that urine leakage was significantly reduced in both groups during the follow-up period and before treatment, with statistical differences(P < 0.01).2.Comparison of ICIQ-SF score:Compared before and after treatment,ICIQ-SF score were significantly reduced in both groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).Comparison of long-term efficacy,ICIQ-SF score was significantly reduced between the two groups during follow-up and before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The ICIQ-SF scores of Wenshen Tiaoshen group and Wenshen Bazhen group after treatment were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).3.Comparison of anxiety and depression scale scores:Compared before and after treatment,The scores of anxiety and depression scale in Wenshen Tiaoshen group were significantly reduced, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),and there was no significant difference in the scores of anxiety and depression in Wenshen Bazhen group(P > 0.05).Comparison of long-term efficacy,The scores of anxiety and depression scale in Wenshen Tiaoshen group were significantly reduced(P < 0.01);the scores of anxiety and depression in Wenshen Bazhen group were not significantly different(P > 0.05).4.Comparison of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores:Compared before and after treatment,PSQI scores of Wenshen Tiaoshen group and Wenshen Bazhen group decreased after treatment compared with before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),and compared with Wenshen Bazhen group,PSQI score of Wenshen Tiaoshen group decreased more significantly after treatment, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.01).Comparison of long-term efficacy,PSQI scores in Wenshen Tiaoshen group were significantly reduced during the follow-up period and before treatment(P < 0.01).During the follow-up period of Wenshen Bazhen group,PSQI score did not change significantly compared with that before treatment(P > 0.05).5.Comparison of comprehensive efficacy:The total effective rate of Wenshen Tiaoshen group was 89.29%,and that of Wenshen Bazhen group was 76.00%.The difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).Conclusion:Both Wenshen Tiaoshen group and Wenshen Bazhen group could effectively improve the symptoms of urinary incontinence, and the two groups had obvious effects on improving the urine leakage volume of patients’ 1-hour pad test,ICIQ-SF score and PSQI score. However,The results of the one-hour pad test leakage and PSQI score were more significant in Wenshen Tiaoshen group, and the scores of anxiety and depression scale were also significantly improved in the Wenshen Tiaoshen group. In terms of long-term outcomes, the long-term effect was better in Wenshen Tiaoshen group. In general,Wenshen Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy has more significant therapeutic effect on mixed urinary incontinence, which is worthy of further clinical promotion. |
