Treatment Of Multiple Sclerosis With Modern Chinese Medicine Literature Study On The Law Of Syndrome Differentiation And Treatment

Objective : The purpose of this study is to summarize the TCM nomenclature,etiology and pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation ideas,treatment principles and methods,and TCM nursing of multiple sclerosis.Through data mining,the TCM syndrome types,syndrome characteristics,and medication rules of multiple sclerosis are explored in depth,so as to provide ideas for TCM treatment of multiple sclerosis.Methods:CNKI,Wanfang database and VIP database were used as the search tools.The language of the articles was limited to Chinese.The published time of the literature was from January 1,2010 to December 31,2020.The key words were "multiple sclerosis +traditional Chinese medicine","flaccidity syndrome + traditional Chinese medicine","multiple sclerosis + traditional Chinese medicine","flaccidity syndrome + traditional Chinese medicine","multiple sclerosis + traditional Chinese medicine","flaccidity syndrome + traditional Chinese medicine" and "multiple sclerosis"+ Chinese and Western medicine "," Wei syndrome + Chinese and Western medicine "as the subject words were searched,and the content of each article was carefully read,according to the conditions included,secondary screening,collected the required literature for processing.The TCM symptoms,syndrome types and traditional Chinese medicine contained in the literature were entered into Excel for statistics,and the corresponding database was formed.SPSS statistics 26.0 and SPSS modeler 18.0 were used to analyze the statistical data in Excel.Results:The regularity of TCM treatment of multiple sclerosis is as follows:1.Multiple sclerosis belongs to "flaccidity syndrome" of traditional Chinese medicine.Its etiology is complex.The core of pathogenesis lies in the deficiency of origin and excess of origin.The principle of treatment is to treat deficiency and excess separately and by stages.The idea of "prevention of disease" is actively advocated for daily care and nursing.2.Frequency of TCM syndrome types: 217 literatures were selected and 63 types of TCM syndrome types were recorded.The top five syndrome types with the most frequency in the study are: liver and kidney deficiency syndrome(75 times),spleen and stomach weakness syndrome(53 times),spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome(52 times),damp heat immersion syndrome(32 times),blood stasis obstructing collaterals syndrome(27times).3.Symptoms: 65 detailed symptoms were recorded in the included literature,including 65 kinds of symptoms,with a total frequency of 1789 times.The ten most frequent symptoms in the literature were as follows: flaccid and weak limbs,numbness of limbs,visual impairment,paralysis of limbs,cramped muscles and veins or stiff limbs,abnormal stool,blurred vision,limb pain or tingling,sensory impairment,poor speech or aphasia.4.Common traditional Chinese medicine and medicine group: 306 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine were included in this study,with a total frequency of 4276 times.The top five drugs with the highest frequency were Astragalus,angelica,Atractylodes macrocephala,epimedium and Cornus officinalis respectively;21 kinds of core traditional Chinese medicine with frequency ≥ 20 were classified,and the top three drugs with the highest frequency were Invigorating Qi,invigorating yang,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis;the core drugs with frequency ≥ 20 were classified According to the network diagram and Apriori analysis,44 groups met the requirements.The common drug groups were Astragalus chuanxiong,Epimedium yam Astragalus,angelica Radix Paeoniae radix rehmanniae,Astragalus Angelica Poria,Epimedium yam,etc.5.Application of prescriptions: in this literature study,68 kinds of prescriptions were involved,and the frequency of prescriptions used in different periods was different.The top five most frequently used prescriptions were Buzhong Yiqi Decoction,Yougui Pill,Liuwei Dihuang pill,Sijunzi Decoction and ermiaosan.They belong to the acute stage or relapse stage,remission stage or recovery stage of the disease.Conclusion: The regularity of TCM treatment of multiple sclerosis is as follows:1.The disease name is mostly "flaccidity syndrome",the pathogenesis is based on deficiency and excess,the treatment is mainly to support the healthy and eliminate pathogenic factors,and pay attention to daily care.2.The common syndrome types are deficiency of liver and kidney,deficiency of spleen and stomach and deficiency of both spleen and kidney;the main symptoms are flaccidity and weakness of limbs,dyskinesia,common red tongue,white or thin fur and fine pulse.3.Category and taste of commonly used traditional Chinese medicine: commonly used Qi tonifying drugs,Yang tonifying drugs and blood activating and stasis removing drugs.The commonly used Qi tonifying drugs are: Astragalus,Atractylodes macrocephala,Glycyrrhiza,Codonopsis,yam;the commonly used Yang tonifying drugs are: epimedium,dodder,Cistanche,Morinda officinalis,Eucommia;the commonly used blood activating and stasis removing drugs are: Achyranthes bidentata,spatholobus Spatholobi,Ligusticum chuanxiong,safflower,Salvia miltiorrhiza.4.Commonly used prescriptions: in acute stage and recurrent stage,commonly used prescriptions are: Ermiao powder,Huanglian Jiedu Decoction and Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction;in remission stage,commonly used prescriptions are: Buzhong Yiqi Decoction,Sijunzi Decoction,Buyang Huanwu Decoction and Wendan Decoction;in recovery stage,commonly used prescriptions are: Yougui Pill,Liuwei Dihuang pill,Zuogui pill and Dihuang Yinzi.The application of prescriptions in different periods is different.In acute stage and remission and recurrence stage,the prescriptions of clearing away heat and dampness,clearing away heat and detoxification are mostly used;in remission stage,the prescriptions of invigorating spleen and Qi,activating blood circulation and resolving phlegm are mostly used;in recovery stage,the prescriptions of Invigorating Kidney Yang,nourishing kidney yin and both yin and yang are mostly used.
