Object1. Through concluding the knowledge of the Chinese ancient doctors and sexologists, expounding academic thoughts in different historical periods and reveals the origin of the academic development of Premature Ejaculation.2.Through summarizing and reporting literature reports of treating Premature Ejaculation with traditional Chinese medicine and combination of traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in 20 years, analyzing symptom characteristics, syndrome differentiation and prescriptions and herbs of Premature Ejaculation in clinic, to provide the basis for the treatment of premature ejaculation with traditional Chinese medicine.Method1. This study is basically a study of philology. Based on time as the main line, represented by all previous dynasties main doctors’academic ideas, systematic collecting literature data of premature ejaculation.2.Selecting the documents that meet the conditions through retrieving Chinese CNKI Journal Full-text Database, VIP medical resource database system and Wan Fang database, and manual searching related literature in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Library from 1995.1.1 to 2015.12.31, analyzing the diagnostic criteria, etiology and pathogenesis, syndromes, clinical manifestations, tongue pictures, pulse conditions, therapeutic methods and prescriptions and herbs, using SPSS20.0 software to do frequency and rate analysis, inducing and concluding the regularity of treatment dealing with Premature Ejaculation of traditional Chinese medicine.Results1. In ancient literature section, it concluded disease name evolution of Premature Ejaculation in ancient literature, introduced the understanding of ejaculation too fast in various historical periods, analyzed etiology and pathogenesis of ejaculation too fast, and concluded treatment methods for ejaculation too fast and Qigong guidance methods in various historical periods.2. In modern research, this study included 92 documents, including the data of 118cases. Diagnosis of Premature Ejaculation relied principally on the statements of patients.3. Main syndromes are dampness heat of liver and gallbladder, disharmony between heart and kidney. Main symptoms are insomnia (28), dreaminess (24), weakness (23), soreness and weakness of waist and knees (23), irritability (21).Main tongue colors are red tongue (32), pale tongue (22). Main coatings on the tongue are white and thin fur (22) and slimy yellow fur (10).4. Main treatments in traditional Chinese Medicine are pure traditional Chinese Medicine (55) and Chinese medicine combined with western medicine (14). Main commonly used prescriptions are self-prescription (55), SanCaiFengSuiDan(8) and Decoction of Gentian to Purge the Liver(6).5. Main herbs are tonic herbs (424) and astringent herbs (209).Most commonly used herbs are Oyster (52), Keel (46), Licorice (42), Gorgon (40) and Phellodendri (39).Conclusions1. In ancient literature, knowledge of Premature Ejaculation is rooted in Pneumatism, it thinks that "semen" and "Jing" are homogeneous. There are many methods of prolonging ejaculation time.2. Premature Ejaculation locates in the kidney, and its main pathological factor is Xianghuo.3. In clinic, main syndromes are dampness heat of liver and gallbladder, disharmony between heart and Kidney, and main symptoms are insomnia, dreaminess, weakness, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, and irritability, which are related to Xianghuo.4. SanCaiFengSuiDan and Decoction of Gentian to Purge the Liver are in common use in clinic. The two prescriptions are mainly aimed at Xianghuo.
