Wuling Powder Syndrome And Experience Research Based On Network Pharmacology

Objective : Wuling powder is originated from treatise on Shanghan Zabing Lun written by Zhang Zhongjing in Han Dynasty.It is mainly used to treat water retention syndrome of bladder gasification.It has been established for many years and has significant clinical effect.This topic takes Wuling powder in Treatise on febrile diseases as the research object,through literature research,clinical investigation(outpatient medical records collection of Professor Men Jiuzhang),sorting out and analyzing the prescription and syndrome experience of Wuling powder,and finally through statistical analysis and network pharmacology analysis,summarizes the theoretical basis of Wuling powder,explores the prescription and syndrome law of Wuling powder in clinical application,expands the scope of clinical application,and has a better clinical guiding.Methods:Collection of medical records received by Professor Men Jiuzhang from April 2019 to April 2020 and meeting the inclusion criteria.Then,the database was input according to the date of treatment,gender,age,TCM disease name,western medicine disease name,symptom,pulse condition,prescription,etc.Cluster analysis,frequency analysis,network pharmacology analysis and other methods were used to establish the rules of Wuling powder in clinical application.Results : In 113 cases of medical records collected,the ratio of male and female patients was 1:3.52 that female patients were significantly higher than male patients.Patients aged 40-60 and 70-80 accounted for 54.1%,with more middle-aged and elderly patients.Single pulse was mainly composed of deep pulse(46%)and string pulse(12.4%).The main pulse condition of compound pulse was deep vein(5.3%).It mainly treats brain diseases(27.8%),Qi,blood and body fluid diseases(24.1%)and kidney diseases(12%),of which vertigo(23.1%),tumor(13.9%),edema(10.2%),thirst(8.3%),stroke(3.7%)are the main TCM symptoms of Wuling powder.The main clinical manifestations were dizziness(33.6%),edema(32.7%),headache(23.0%),nocturia(19.5%),insomnia(18.3%),etc.,which can be used as the core symptoms of Wuling powder.Fear of cold(15.0%),fatigue(15.0%),abdominal distension(14.2%),palpitation(14.2%),constipation(12.4%)can be used as the reference dialectical basis.Wuling powder was most often combined with Xiaoer Yigong powder(27.7%)and Shenqi decoction(13.3%).According to the network pharmacology analysis,27 candidate components and 61 predicted targets were obtained.The target points of hypertension,diabetes and irritable bowel syndrome were 2274,2332 and 2100,and 36,41 and 39 potential targets respectively.The main functions of target participation include apoptosis,immune response,inflammatory response,etc.,and the main enrichment pathways include apoptosis pathway,serotonin synapse,TNF signaling pathway,etcConclusion:Through the analysis of Professor menjiuzhang’s clinical experience in the application of Wuling powder.The conclusion is as follows:Wuling powder in 40-80 years old patients with the most concentrated,in which more female patients.Wuling powder is mainly suitable for hypertension,diabetes,nephritis,tumor,cerebral infarction,Meniere’s syndrome and other diseases.The patient’s pulse condition was mainly pulse sinking.The clinical manifestations were dizziness,edema,headache,nocturia,insomnia and fear of cold.It is often combined with Xiaoer Yigong powder and Shenqi decoction.It is found that Wuling powder can inhibit cell apoptosis,resist inflammatory reaction,enhance metabolism,improve mental anxiety and depression,and anti-tumor,so as to achieve the effect of treating diseases.
