| Objective Based on the framework of social ecological impairment model,this study explores the factors affecting intervention compliance through in-depth understanding of the real feelings of elderly people participating in the intervention process of Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and their suggestions on intervention program.The promotion and hindrance factors of intervention compliance in the previous intervention process were identified,and the intervention plan was further optimized to improve the compliance of MCI elderly people in the community to participate in the intervention,so that they could maximize the benefits brought by the intervention.Methods In this study,the interpretative phenomenology method in qualitative research was adopted,and the maximum difference sampling method was used to select the elderly MCI patients who participated in the acupoint massage intervention of the research group in a community in Wuhan as the interviewees.The preliminary interview outline was formulated according to the results of literature research and the social ecological model,and then the interview outline was improved through expert guidance and pre-interview.Semi structured in-depth interviews were conducted for the respondents.The specific number of respondents was determined according to the principle of data saturation.During the interview,the non-verbal expressions of the interviewees were observed,and the key points related to the theme and the feelings of the interviewees were recorded.After the interview,the recording of the interview was converted into text as far as possible within24 hours.The qualitative research data processing software Nvivo12.0 was used to sort,code and classify the collected data.The subject was extracted according to Giorgi data analysis method.Results Two MCI patients were pre-interviewed,and the interview outline was modified and improved.Finally,20 MCI patients in the community were included for in-depth interviews.Throughrepeated analysis of the interview data,combined with the resea-rchers’ feelings during the interview and the framework of the social ecological model,three themes were extracted in this study,and each theme included two sub-themes:Theme 1: The personal levelContains 2 sub-topics:(1)Facilitating factors: good intervention experience,increased health awareness,and sufficient leisure time.(2)Obstacles: memory loss and limited physical activity.Theme 2: Social factorsContains two sub-topics:(1)Facilitating factors: The care of family members,support from friends in the community,social needs,good attitude of interventioners,high professionalism of interventioners,provision of health checks.(2)Obstructive factors: Lack of family support,insufficient number of intervention personnel,adjustment time in the intervention process,weak individualization of intervention projects,and insufficient supervision measures.Theme 3: environmental factorsContains two subtopics:(1)Facilitation factors: the intervention site is quiet,the intervention site is safe,the intervention site is spacious,and the intervention site has convenient transportation.(2)Obstacles: The location of the intervention is concealed and bad weather.Conclusion This research adopts qualitative research method of descriptive phenomenology,through to the 20 community involved in massage intervention in patients with MCI in-depth interviews,analysis of the influence factors that influence the compliance of patients with MCI intervention combined with the research finally extract theme,put forward some improve the compliance of MCI patients in community intervention strategies,research conclusions are as follows:1.At the individual level,the health status of MCI patients affects the intervention compliance.MCI patients need to overcome the impact of the disease,in addition to the memory loss caused by MCI,but also pay attention to the treatment of complications,improve physical activity ability or control the pain caused by the disease.2.At the social level,attention should be paid to strengthening the social support of MCI patients,rationally utilizing social resources,and organizing intervention activities according to the specific needs of MCI patients.3.On the environmental level,in addition to the external weather factors that are hard to be changed by manpower,attention should be paid to the safety and convenience of the environment when selecting the intervention site on the premise of good infrastructure,and the place far away from the subjects should not be chosen to increase the risk of the traffic process. |
