The Clinical Research Of Peitushengjin Decoction Combined With Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Advanced NSCLC Patients Of Lung-Qi Deficiency Type

Objective:This study is based on the long-term clinical experience of mentor in the treatment of cancer patients,skilled in the use of traditional Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy program to improve the efficacy of patients,The curative effect of Peitushengjin decoction combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of middle and late stage non-small cell lung cancer with deficiency of lung and spleen type was observed,and the indexes of TCM syndrome integral,quality of life,bone marrow suppression and objective curative effect were analyzed statistically.The clinical efficacy and safety of Peitushengjin decoction combined with chemotherapy were evaluated in order to provide a reliable and effective clinical therapy for patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods:68 patients with advanced NSCLC were selected and divided into treatment group(n = 34)and control group(n = 34)according to random number table method.The patients in the treatment group were treated with Peitusheng Jin Tang combined with GP(gemcitabine cisplatin)regimen and the control group were treated with GP regimen alone.The changes of the indexes in each patient were counted effectively.After two treatment cycles,the observation indexes of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded and analyzed statistically.Finally,the clinical significance of Peitusheng Jin decoction in the treatment of middle and late stage NSCLC patients was evaluated.Results:There was no significant difference in age,sex,pathological type before treatment and TNM stage between the two groups.There was no significant difference in the scores of leukocytes,platelets and KPS between the two groups before treatment.The specific analysis was as follows:(1)The scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups before and after treatment were comparable(P < 0.05),and all decreased after treatment,indicating that the two groups had a certain curative effect on the symptoms of TCM syndrome before and after treatment,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).However,there was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05),in which the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group.(2)The KPS scores of the two groups were comparable before and after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was comparability between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05).The KPS score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).(3)There was no significant difference in the size of the tumor before and after treatment in the two groups(P> 0.05).The difference was not significant between the two groups(P> 0.05).(4)T-test showed that there were significant differences in leukocytes and platelets before and after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05).The incidence of myelosuppression in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Conclusion:(1)Peitusheng Jin decoction combined with GP regimen chemotherapy can alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients and reduce the integral of TCM syndrome;(2)In the middle and late stage NSCLC patients,Peitusheng Jin decoction combined with GP regimen chemotherapy can improve the KPS score and the quality of life of the patients.(3)Peitu Shengjin decoction combined with chemotherapy can effectively reduce the incidence of myelosuppression and relieve the toxic and side effects during chemotherapy.(4)The combination of NSCLC,Peitu Shengjin decoction and GP regimen can reduce the incidence of myelosuppression and provide a safe and reliable clinical basis for the treatment of middle and late stage NSCLC by combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.
