A Study On The Correlation Between Lung Governing Defensive Qi And The Incidence Of Allergic Rhinitis

Objective:The pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis is complicated.At present,Western medicine has no special treatment,while traditional Chinese medicine has achieved good results in the treatment of this disease.In this project,we investigated the relationship between lung governing defense qi and allergic rhinitis,clarified the basic pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis,aiming to provide ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment and achieve better clinical efficacy.Research methods:The subject research was conducted through a combination of theoretical research and clinical investigation.Theoretical research mainly explores the relationship between lung governing defensive qi and allergic rhinitis through clearing up the relevant data of lung governing defensive qi and clarifies that lung deficiency and insecurity of defensive exterior are the basic pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis.Through clinical study,I collected clinical data of 120 patients and constitution data of 100 patients with allergic rhinitis,and sorted out the general information,clinical syndromes,symptoms,and constitution of the patients.Put the collected data into computer,and analyzed the date combined with the theoretical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine by using SPSS22.0 software.Results:1.Theoretical study:Through the study of the classics of Chinese medicine and related literature,combined with the theory of lung governing defense qi and lung opening into nose,we found that there is a strong correlation between disorder of lung governing defense qi and allergic rhinitis,and lung governing defense qi permeates through the whole process of the development of allergic rhinitis.2.Clinical research:We investigated 120 patients with allergic rhinitis.Investigation showed women were more susceptible to this disease than men,the main age of onset ranged from 18 to 39 years old,and the disease mainly occurred in autumn,spring and winter.The causes of the disease were temperature changes,pollen and dust mites.The main types of syndromes were lung-qi deficiency syndrome(43.3%),spleen-qi deficiency syndrome(20.83%),kidney-yang deficiency syndrome(15%),and lung meridian syndrome(15%).A total of 100 patients with allergic rhinitis were investigated about their constitution,and most of them are endowed with more than two types of constitution.The most commonly seen constitutions are Yang deficiency,Qi deficiency,and special qualities.It can be seen that the patients with allergic rhinitis are mostly with deficiency constitution.The clinical symptoms are mainly deficiency syndrome,among which fear of cold(12.1%),spontaneous sweating(10.2%)and other symptoms of Yang deficiency and Qi deficiency are common.Comparing the symptoms of the nose,it was found that the nasal secretions of patients with latent heat in the lung channel are significantly different from the other three syndromes.Conclusion:Lung and defense qi are related in both physiology and pathology,and their relation plays an important role in the onset of allergic rhinitis.Lung qi deficiency and insecurity of defensive exterior,the basic pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis,can affect the occurrence of allergic rhinitis.The investigation also showed that allergic rhinitis is actually root deficiency,and healthy-qi deficiency is the root cause of allergic rhinitis.Therefore,in clinical practice,tonifying the lung and defense qi is mainly adapted in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
