The Study On The Cognitive Processing Mechanism Of Two-part Allegorical Sayings In Schizophrenia

Objective:This study focuses on the cognitive processing mechanism of two-part allegorical saying in schizophrenic patients,taking familiarity as an independent variable.In Study 1,we explored the influence of different cognitive functions on two-part allegorical sayings understanding under high and low familiarity;in Study 2,we explored whether there was alienated two-part allegorical sayings processing mechanism in patients with schizophrenia through eye movement.Methods:This research is mainly divided into two parts:literature research and experimental research.The research methods of the literature research part are mainly through the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),China Biology Medicine disc(CBMdisc),Vip Full Platform(VIP),Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform and PubMed,Springer and other Chinese and foreign literature retrieval platforms Search related researches on non-sense language cognition of schizophrenia by keywords such as "schizophrenia","figurative language","idiom","irony",etc.The experimental study is divided into two parts.In Study 1,there were two experiments.In Experiment 1,72 schizophrenics were enrolled,while in control group,34 normal people matched in age,gender and education background.The paper and pencil tests were used in two-part allegorical sayings and cognitive tests.The two-part allegorical sayings test included 25 two-part allegorical sayings with high and low familiarity.In Experiment 2,44 schizophrenics were enrolled.In addition to the two-part allegorical sayings test,eye test and aphasia task test were used to measure the psychological theory ability of the subjects.In Study 2,eye movement data of 24 patients who met the admission criteria and 20 matched control group were recorded by eye movement instrument,and the eye movement data and behavior data of the two groups were statistically analyzed.Results:The results of the literature show that patients with schizophrenia have defects in non-sense language comprehension,and their defects are closely related to cognitive factors.The main possible cognitive influencing factors include language,executive control,theory of mind and other functions.The scientific evidence has been proved.Evidence from cognitive neuroscience also found that impairments on the basis of cognitive function make schizophrenia patients alienated in nonsense language understanding.At present,research on non-intuitive language cognition and understanding of finely divided patients mainly focuses on linguistic materials such as idioms,metaphorical sentences,irony,etc.,and mainly focuses on foreign language research,and there are few localization studies.The research of Two-part allegorical sayings’s cognitive processing is currently focused on healthy people.The study of Two-part allegorical sayings’s cognitive understanding of schizophrenia helps to further broaden the scope of related research,and it will help the follow-up research.In study 1,experiment 1 results showed that the scores of schizophrenia patients with high and low familiarity two-part allegorical sayings and cognitive tests were worse than the control group.Academic year,attention,interference sensitivity and tmt-a had significant predictive effects on two-part allegorical sayings scores with high familiarity.The results of experiment 2 showed that the theory of mind had a significant predictive effect on both high and low two-part allegorical sayings scores.The results of the second study showed that the accuracy of two-part allegorical sayings with high and low familiarity in schizophrenia patients was significantly lower than that in the control group,and eye movement data showed that the accuracy of two-part allegorical sayings in the patient group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Conclusion:The results show that executive control function,language function,working memory and psychological theory play an important role in two-part allegorical sayings processing,and there are different processing approaches under different degrees of familiarity.Moreover,two-part allegorical sayings with high degree of familiarity performs better than two-part allegorical sayings with low degree of familiarity,which confirms the metaphorical career theory.The theory of mind is an important factor influencing the comprehension of two-part allegorical sayings,and the difference in measuring means between the eye test and the faux pas task test will affect the interpretation results of the study,which deserves attention from other studies.The processing pattern of schizophrenia patients was similar to that of normal people,but there were still differences in the comprehen sion of two-part allegorical sayings between the two groups,which might be reflected in the neural pathways of understanding non-straight language in the patients with fine segmentation.
