| ObjectiveContralateral Needling method has a long history of application and there is a special chapter in Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor. In this paper, the origin and modern development of the Contralateral Needling method are explored through the discussion of the related theories in Huangdi Neijing, and the clinical application of the Contralateral Needling method is demonstrated;through the use of computer retrieval, the current clinical application indications, acupuncture methods and acupoint selection rules of the Miao acupuncture method are statistically analyzed,so as to provide reference for the future clinical practice.Through the use of computer retrieval, statistical analysis of the present clinical application indications, acupuncture methods, acupoint selection rules of Contralateral Needling method,in order to provide reference for the future clinical practice.Methods1.By studying the articles related to Contralateral Needling method recorded in Huangdi Neijing, the theory and characteristics are sorted out and discussed.2.Through the way of computer searching and recording the electronic software of ancient medical books, collecting the data, reading and combing the records of Contralateral Needling in ancient medical books manually(including symptoms, acupoints and acupuncture methods),and discuss the historical evolution and clinical application of Contralateral Needling method;3.Through computer retrieval of Chinese databases such as CNKI,weipu and wanfang data resource system, the domestic clinical research literature on the treatment of acupuncture was selected, read and sorted out,and the symptoms, acupuncture methods and acupoint selection related to acupuncture were extracted from the literature. Then, the designed Excel table was input for classification, frequency statistics, and the clinical application characteristics and rules of acupuncture were summarized through chart analysis.Results1.The use of Contralateral Needling method was first recorded in the yellow emperor’s Canon of internal medicine, with a special article detailing it.According to the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the principles of clinical application, this paper summarizes the concept, etiology, pathogenesis, indications, acupoint selection, technique, mechanism of action, theoretical source, and the difference between the application of another kind of opposing needling method, and improves the theoretical system of application of acupuncture.2.In the study of ancient documents, the types of works related to the historical background, and combined with the clinical practice of doctors, expanded the use of symptoms, acupuncture points and operation methods.3.In the current clinical literature study,100 clinical studies related to muxi were included in this study, including 17 diseases. With the progress of science and technology, the methods of acupuncture therapy are reflected in different acupuncture methods, and the range of applicable diseases is gradually expanded. Now,it is widely used in clinic for orthopedic pain, facial paralysis, facial spasm and other diseases, and also partly used for tinnitus and deafness.4.The literature shows that there is no unified standard in acupoint selection, the main acupoint selection method is cross acupoint selection, focusing on the remote acupoints of limbs, and making good use of well acupoints and collaterals.ConclusionAccording to the ancient documents, the Contralateral Needling method is mainly used for diseases with the cause of disease in collaterals, not in meridians, and no change in pulse diagnosis. In today’s clinical practice, the Contralateral Needling method is widely used, mainly in orthopedics, internal medicine, and facial features;in acupoint selection, there is no unified standard due to the experience of each doctor, and there is diversity. In the operation methods, due to different diseases, the operation methods are different. In modern medicine, there are few experimental studies on the treatment mechanism of the Contralateral Needling method.Doctors believe that the theoretical basis mainly comes from the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine, the balance of yin and Yang, and the theory of meridians. |
