Objective: Investigating the clinical significance of autologous fat transplantation in repairing orbital depression.Method: This experiment adopt Retrospective studies,The study involved 9patients,each of them were admitted to the Guangxi Medical University’s first affiliated hospital between January 1,2015 and September 1,2019 and hospitalized to receive orbital autologous fat transplantation for correction of orbital depression.The causes of these 9 patients received autologous fat transplantation were as follows: The eyeball was removed due to serious trauma,After the enucleation of the eyeball,orbital depression was caused by loss the support of orbital soft tissue;The orbital cavity was caused by the loss of support of the orbital soft tissue after the operation of the orbital tumor.The artificial eye seat was implanted,and then the artificial eye seat was removed due to infection or exposure after the operation.The orbital depression occurred after the removal of the artificial eye seat.This study involved 9 patients,including 3 male patients and 6 female patients,all of whom had grade 4(including grade 4)or above orbital depression,which seriously affected the patients’ psychology and life,and no obvious contraindications were found after examination.The relevant information of 9 patients was summarized by consulting the patient’s medical records,inpatient records and other relevant data,and the preoperative and postoperative grade assessment of the orbital depression were evaluated by their doctor.The grade of orbital depression is divided into 5 grades according to the self-made evaluation scale: 1~5 grades.Results: Nine patients were involved in this study,with an average followup time of 31 months,and a total of 8 patients(88%)with postoperative orbital depression grade 2 or above.Statistical analysis was conducted on the postoperative degree of orbital depression and preoperative grade of orbital depression between the two groups,and the significant difference P=0.006(<0.05),indicating that the difference in preoperative and postoperative grade of orbital depression was statistically significant.The effect factors of postoperative orbital sag level may perform statistical analysis,the results are as follows: "gender"(P=0.180),"operations"(P=0.180),"the presence of merger prosthesis exposure history"(P=0.655).According to the existing data,it is impossible to determine the "gender","previous surgical frequency",and "history of combined artificial eye socket exposure" to have an impact on postoperative orbital depression grade.Conclusion: Autologous fat transplantation has great clinical value in patients with orbital sag,with the constant improvement of the medical level,followed by autologous fat transplantation technology progress,success rate of surgery,fat graft survival rate increased,autologous fat transplantation will be more and more widely used in clinic and bring more clinical value.The data designed in this study are not enough to prove that gender,previous surgical frequency,and the history of combined prosthesis exposure have no influence on postoperative orbital depression grade.It can be considered to increase the sample size to further examine the relevant factors affecting the grade of postoperative orbital depression.
