| OBJECTIVE: This study systematically studied the anatomy, imaging and histology of the nasopharynx and surrounding tissues of tree shrews in order to fill the gaps and provide reference for the study of tree shrews as animal models of head and neck diseases. Methods: Thirty healthy adult tree shrews were selected and divided into two groups: imaging group and anatomical group.Five rats were subjected to MIRCO CT head and neck scan after intraperitoneal anesthesia with pentobarbital sodium.,Carry out the anatomy of saline cardiac perfusion and sacrifice.Tree shrews with CT scans of the head and neck mainly reconstruct the nasopharynx three-dimensionally,while observing the imaging characteristics of the surrounding structure;the tree shrews killed by perfusion are anatomically studied, and the head mainly includes the nasopharynx and nasal part.Material was taken for pathological section staining. The neck structure included laryngo-pharyngeal,muscle,gland,lymph,blood vessel and nerve. The anatomical structure of each part was observed. At the same time, each structure was anatomically named. Results: Since previous studies did not involve detailed tree shrew nasopharyngeal studies, this experiment illustrates the applied anatomy of the nasopharynx and surrounding tissues from the perspective of anatomy, tissue, and imaging. The anatomical positioning of the nasopharynx of the tree shrew is divided by the plane of the skull and the soft palate. The nasopharynx of the tree shrew is from the front to the middle of the posterior margin of the nasal septum, and the two sides are the posterior nostrils. The wall and the posterior wall are curved at a small angle,so they are collectively called the posterior and posterior wall. The posterior and posterior wall is composed of the sphenoid body and the anterior base of the occipital bone.Unlike people, the lateral wall is symmetrical, and the main structure is the eustachian tube. The pharyngeal opening, located inside the posterior edge of the medial plate of the pterygoid,is somewhat similar to a person, and is a concave triangle or trumpet;the middle of the front wall is the posterior edge of the nasal septum, and the two sides are the posterior nostrils;the bottom wall is composed of the back of the soft palate and the back The "nasopharyngeal isthmus" formed between the oropharynx and communicates with the oropharynx;the unilateral nasal cavity of the normal tree shrew contains one maxillary turbinate and four ethmoid turbinates, and the paranasal sinuses include the maxillary sinus, anterior group ethmoid sinus,The posterior group ethmoid sinus and sphenoid sinus, and also identified the structures of the sinus, oral and nasal passages, vomeronasal organs, sieve labyrinth, nasal dome, etc.;the drainage channels of the nasal airway and sinuses of the tree shrew were confirmed;Epithelium, respiratory epithelium, transitional epithelium and olfactory epithelium.CT confirmed the findings of the coronal slices;the neck anatomy showed the detailed anatomical structure of the neck of the tree shrew from the outside to the inside, and the integrity of the anatomy from the perspective of tomography and imaging. Conclusion: Through the study of this experiment,we have conducted a more detailed study on the nasopharynx, nose and neck of tree shrews, and provided anatomical methods and references for further establishment of animal models of nasopharyngeal, nasal and neck diseases with tree shrews.in accordance with. |
