Objectives:Analyze the current status of inability of diabetic elderly in Yanji City,further understand the current situation of glucose monitoring and incapacitation of diabetic elderly in Yanji City and its influencing factors,and provide a positive reference for the development of strategies for prevention a nd intervention of diabetes in Yanji value.Methods:This study is a non-experimental descriptive study,using the general demographics questionnaire for patients with diabetic disability,the elderly disability questionnaire,the daily self-care ability questionnaire,the general self-efficacy scale,and family care measures The table uses a convenient sampling method to select diabetes patients in the three communities of Park,Xinxing and Henan to conduct a questionnaire survey.A total of 320 questionnaires were distributed and 300 questionnaires were recovered.SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data.Statistical methods such as t test,analysis of variance,test of pairwise comparison between multiple groups,and logistic regression analysis are mainly used.Results:(1)The status of disability of elderly diabetic patients in Yanji City is widespread,and the disability rate is 28.9%.The severity of disability in elderly diabetic patients differs in cognitive function(P<0.05).(2)Gender,age,education,monthly income,chronic diseases,and types of illnesses all affect the degree of disability of the disabled elderly in their daily activities(P<0.05).Gender,age,chronic disease,and type of disease are the factors that affect the self-efficacy of elderly diabetic patients(P<0.05).Gender,age,living alone or not,and the type of disease are the influencing factors of the self-care ability of the grandmother with diabetes(P<0.05).(3)Disability is negatively correlated with self-efficacy and self-care ability.Self-efficacy is positively correlated with self-care ability.Conclusions:(1)The disability rate of diabetic elderly in Yanji City is 28.9%.(2)The main influencing factors of disability in the elderly with diabetes were age,education,chronic diseases,number of children and monthly income.(3)The more severe the disability,the lower the self-efficacy and self-care ability.Improving self-care ability of elderly diabetic patients may improve self-efficacy.
