Objective:To explore the effect of different doses of polyethylene glycol(PEG)electrolyte solutions in intestinal preparation for total colonoscopy in patients with colorectal carcinoma(CRC)operation. Methods:A total of 320 patients with CRC operation undergoing colonoscopy between January 2017 and January 2019 were randomly divided into group 2L-PEG,and group 4L-PEG before the examination. The adverse reactions of the patients were compared between the two groups, and according to with or without right hemicolectomy, the intestinal cleaning quality was compared. Results:In this study,385 postoperative CRC patients were actually collected, and 320 patients finally completed the bowel preparation program of this study.Bowel preparation compliance of CRC patients in the 2L-PEG group was better than that in the 4L-PEG group. There was no significant difference in age,sex ratio, body weight, number of previous colonoscopies, number of constipation, postoperative time, colon resection method, surgical method and other factors between the 2L-PEG group and the 4L-PEG group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the adverse reactions(nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal distension)between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the sleep quality in group 2L-PEG was prior to group 4L-PEG(P<0.05).For patients who retained the right semicolon after CRC,the cleaning effect of bowel preparation in the 4L-PEG group was better than that of the 2L-PEG group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).For patients with CRC after right hemicolectomy, there was no significant difference in bowel preparation effect between the 2L-PEG group and the 4L-PEG group(P>0.05).Conclusion:For the patients with CRC who retained the right half of the colon, the cleaning effect of bowel preparation in the 4L-PEG group was better than that of the 2L-PEG group. For the CRC patients with resection of the right half of the colon, the cleaning effect of bowel preparation in the 2L-PEG group was not significantly different from that of the 4L-PEG group.According to whether the right semicolon is retained in patients after CRC,choosing different doses of PEG electrolyte solution is conducive to improving the quality of intestinal preparation and sleep in patients after CRC surgery.
