Clinical Observation Of Wusu Cough Soup In The Treatment Of Cough Variant Asthma In Children With Syndrome Of JueYin Cough

Objective:To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of wusu cough soup in the treatment of cough variant asthma(Jueyin cough)in children,and to summarize the clinical experience of the tutor in the treatment of this disease,so as to enrich the methods of traditional chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease.Methods:Sixty-four children with cough-variant asthma who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a t reatment group and a control group according to the principle of 1:1,wi th 32 children in each group.The treatment group was treated wi th wusu cough soup,and the ecntrol group was treated with montelukast sodium.The course of treatment was 2 weeks.Visual analogue scores and sympt om and sign scores were evaluated before and after treatment,and cough,symptom scores,exhaled nitric oxide,eosinophi l count improvement and signi f icant recovery efficiency were compared between t he two groups after treatment.Spss23.0 statistical software was used to analyze the results and objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of wusu cough soup in the treatment of cough variant asthma in children.Results:1.Cl inical effect:The effective rate of the treatment group was 96.88%,and that of the control group was 84.38%.The difference in clinical efficacy was statistically significant,and the treatment group was superior to the control group.2.Compar i son of TCM symptoms:After treatment,the total score of symptoms of the two groups were significantly reduced,and the reduction degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Comparing the scores of each main symptom of the two groups,both before and after treatment were improved,and the difference was statistically significant.However,there was no significant difference in daytime cough,night cough and lung auscultation between the two groups.3.Visual analogue score of cough:Both groups could improve the visual analogue symptoms of cough,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.4.Laboratory examination:Exhaled nitric oxide level and eosinophil count were decreased in both groups,however,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.5.Safety evaluation:There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups during the experiment.Conclusion:Both wusu cough soup and montelukast sodium can improve the clinical symptoms of chi ldren with cough variant asthma(Jueyin cough),reduce the level of exhaled nitric oxide and eosinophil count,and it is safe in clinical application.In comparison,the effect of wusu cough soup on this disease is better than that of montelukast sodium alone.This study suggests that wusu cough soup has certain effect in treating children with cough variant asthma(Jueyin cough).The application value is worthy of further clinical study.
