Clinical Study On Children’s Cold With Binding Syndrome

Objective: To explore the distribution regularity of syndromes of children’s cold with Binding syndrome,so as to provide reference for clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment.Methods: According to the characteristics of children’s cold,and by consulting relevant information,a questionnaire of TCM symptoms was drawn up.To collect information on TCM symptoms of 201 cases of cold in pediatrics department of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2018 to January 2019.Statistical software SPSS24.0 was used to input data and establish a database.Statistical descriptions and cluster analysis were used to analyze the results of the survey,and the distribution regularity of syndromes of children’s cold with Binding syndrome was obtained.Results:(1)General situation:Among 201 children,89 were female(44.3%)and 112 were male(55.7%).The ratio of male to female was about 1.26:1.The ratio of boys was slightly higher than girls.Among 201 cases,71(35.3%)were infants,94(46.8%)were preschool children,36(17.9%)were school-age children,and preschool children accounted for the largest proportion.Among 201 cases,103 cases(51.2%)had no obvious inducement,69 cases(34.3%)had "cold",20 cases(10.0%)had "contact with cold patients",and 9 cases(4.5%)had "injury to food" and "catch cold" accounted for the largest proportion.Among 201 cases,197 cases(98.0%)had fever symptoms,among which 102 cases(50.7%)had moderate fever,44 cases(21.9%)had high fever,50 cases(24.9%)had low fever,and 1 case(0.5%)had super high fever.The proportion of moderate fever was the highest in children with fever symptoms.(2)According to this survey,the TCM syndromes of children’s cold with Binding syndromes are cold with food accumulation,cold with phlegm,cold with convulsion,cold with heat,cold with dampness,cold with dryness,cold with retained fluid,cold with deficiency syndrome,the proportion of cold with food accumulation is the highest.Conclusion: Among 201 children with upper respiratory tract infection,the ratio of male to female was about 1.26:1,with boys slightly higher than girls.The proportion of preschool children is the largest.Among the children with obvious predisposing factors,the proportion of "catching cold" is the most.The proportion of moderate fever was the highest among children with fever symptoms.According to this survey,the TCM syndromes of children’s cold with Binding syndromes are cold with food accumulation,cold with phlegm,cold with convulsion,cold with heat,cold with dampness,cold with dryness,cold with retained fluid,cold with deficiency syndrome,the proportion of cold with food accumulation is the highest.
